Several aneuploid lines of Chinese cabbage were identified. Their chromosome behavior was investigated during meiosis. Their pollen and morphology character were observed. The gene controlling flower color of Chinese cabbage was located by primary trisomics analysis. Conclusions were followed:1 Aneuploid line 9404-4-1 was designated as trisomic 3,line 9405-8 as trisomic 4,line 9405-9 as trisomic 5,line 9405-10 as trisomic 7,Iine 9405-11 as trisomic 10,line 9405-12 as monosomic 3,Iine 9405-13 as monosomic 5,line 9405-14 as monomic 6 and line 9405-15 as monosomic 10.2There were abnormal phenomenon during meiosis .Three homologous chromosomes of trisomics behaved as a trivalent or as a bivalent and a univalent or as three univalent during diakinesis and metaphase I of meiosis. While the single chromosome of monosomics behaved as a univalent during diakinesis and metaphase I of meiosis .sometimes as a trivalent combining with other chromosomes which had partial homology. The univalent was often lagged after others and disparted to two chromosomes at anaphase I .3The pollen activity and regularity of monosomics were lower than that of trisomics and diploids. The pollen activity and regularity of trisomics were also lower than that of diploids.4The monosomics were feebler than trisomics and diploids.5The gene controlling flower color of Chinese cabbage were located at chromosome 8.
