Abalone culture has important status in Fujian province aquicultue, and the quality of the abalone is one of the most important element in the development of abalone culturing. According to the characteristic of abalone culturing in Fujian province, the study of genetic and hybridization of abalone has important content, at the same time, it will bring new material to the seashell hybridization breeding theory.First, twelve isoenzymes(LDH,ME,MDH,GPI,PGM,IDH,IDDH,SOD,EST,ODH,ADH,AAT) extracted from three species of abalone(H discus hannai, H diversico]or supertexta, H discus discus) were determined by polyacrylamide gel eleetrophoresis (PAGE), twenty-six loci were tested but none polymorphic loci was detected. The result shows: 1. EST and PGM can be used as biochemistry markers to identify three species of abalone. 2.~ Among the Joel tested, none polymorphic loci was detected, which means that there is serious loss of heterozygotes. The main reason may be null allele~ close-breeding and Darwin Sel ection.Second, the genetic distance among these species of abalones were determined by RAPD. Amplifications with 20 primers give 239 reproducible amplified fragments ranging between 200bp to 5. 0kb. The result shows that thegenetic distance between H discus Iannai and H discus discus is closest, which is 0.3028, and the genetic distance between H. discus hannai andH di versicol or supertexta between H. diversicolor supertexta and H. discusdiscus is comparatively distance, which is 0.7333 and 0.6911, respectively. So H discus hannai xH. di versicol or supertexta and H diversico]or supertextaxH. discus discus will be the ideal parents for hybridization.Third, the genomic changes of the hybridized Fl offsprings of H di versico] or supertexta(.~-) x H discus discus( t )are also tested by RAPD the genetic similarity between Fl offsprings and H. di versicolor supertexta is 0. 8095, far more greater than the genetic similarity between Fl offsprings and H discus discus. And the apparence of the Fl offsprings resemblance H diversicoior supertexta . It is suspected that the Fl offsprings are gynogenetic developmental. The reason maybe depend on the specie-specific of the abalone sperm lysin, which has recognition on egg vitelline envelope. From this, RAPD shows effective use in the abalone hybridization culturing...
