Glycine max(L.)meer is sensitive to photoperiod,different photoperiod treatments can alter it's morphological pattern. Shoot apices were fixed in FAA.Sections 8um thick were stained with iron-hematoxylin and orange G.They were observed under an light microscope.This work respectively studied the anatomical structure of shoot apices under a short-day photoperiod, a long-day photoperiod and a short-day―long-day photoperiod in the course of growing and developing. Plants entered into the floral determinated state when a undifferentiated axillary meristem was showed in the apical memristem of shoot apices.Changing photoperiod could form flowering reversion.The anatomical structure in the course of flowering reversion is similar to the structure of apical meristem in the intermediate stage of development.Cytoplase get thicker;Cell nucleus and nucleolus get bigger;The cell nucleus is in the middle of cell. The apical memristem of shoot apices have a biseriate tunica,which is similar to plants's under other treatments. The study aim to make sure the anatomical and morphogenetic characteristic of flowering reversion.In addtion, This is helpful to know about the time of floral determinated state and the mechanism of flowering...
