Deciduous fruit trees protected cultivation is a new culture form and with higher economic benefit in northern China? This experiment was carried out during 2000-2002 in He Bei Agricultural university with Zaohongzhu, Shuguang, and RuiguangS as experimental materials, investigating and calculating the chilling requirements and growing degree hours of the peach buds; Comparing the applicability of the 7.2癈 chilling unit and the Utah model; analysing the physiological and biochemistry changes of dormant buds; studying the effect of different low temperature to break peach bud dormancy and the different temperature regulating measure to peach flowing and fruiting in protected cultivation; discussing the suitable temperature regulating measure . The main results were as follow ;1 The peach buds of had different chilling requirements significantly between different years: Riguang5 possessed the highest chilling requirements that the floral bud and the vegetative buds were 760h and 700h,rep; Shuguang was the lowest that both the floral buds and vegetative buds were 6401yep: Zaohongzhu was between the former two cultivars, the flower buds and vegetative buds were 700h and 640h <> Moreover, the same cultivar had similar chilling requirements between different years; the floral buds had higher chilling requirements than vegetative buds,- this experiment indicated that 7.2"C chilling unit was more suitable than Utah models in measuring the chilling requirement ?The results showed that the flower buds growing degree hours of Ruiguang 5 was 100800'C.h ?That Shuguang and zaohongzhu both were 9900"C.h.2 In the experiment the physiological and biochemistry changes of flower buds were determined during defoliating period, dormancy initial period, deep dormancy period and the dormancy release period. The results indicated: the carbohydrate content experienced jump-change , starch and soluble sugar had the contradict changes trends during the whole dormancy period , during dormancy release the protein content fell down sharply and the dissociative arnino acid content rose sharply,, The jump-change stage of the51The effect of temperature on peach bud dormancy andflowering and fruit setPomology Ouyang Ru-xinAbstractDeciduous fruit trees protected cultivation is a new culture form and with higher economic benefit in northern China?
