The Chilling requirement of ’bluecrop’,’Elliot’, etc21Vaccinium varieties werestudied under natural chilling and artificial chilling conditions by≤7.2℃,0~7.2℃model and Utah model in this test. At the same time, the changes of solublesugar, starch, proline, soluble protein, free amino acids and the effects of chemicalreagents breaking dormancy with the main Vaccinium varieties during sleep andhibernation were studied. The results are as follows:1.Under natural conditions of low chilling requirement are more concentrated in720h,‘Bluecrop’ and other chilling requirement is960h, both ‘Duke’ is480h,’Patriots’ is600h,‘Legacy’ is240h,‘Borifaly’ to1200h. Under conditions of low chillingrequirement artificially concentrated in700~800h,‘Legacy’ is336h,‘Borifaly’ and‘Bluecrop’ are924h.2.Combined temperature of Changchun region,the dormancy end time of differentVaccinium varieties which mostly were concentrated in the December early.Thespecific results are:‘Bluecrop’and other four varieties in the mid to late December;Patriot and other14varieties in early December;‘Legacy’,‘Duke’ in late November;‘Borifaly’ in late December.3.≤7.2℃model can exhibit differences among varieties,0~7.2℃model and themodel is not appropriate as Vaccinium Utah chilling requirement determination inChangchun.4.As can be seen from the experimental results that the proline, soluble sugar and freeamino acids content of ‘Elliott’ was the highest, hardiness strongest.4. It Can be inferred that the effect in breaking dormancy for six Vaccinium cultivarsKNO3was better than6-BA.
