Based on these main problems (such as low cotton lint yield , low lint percent and poor fiber quality )in the course of nature-coloured cotton research and utility , two various nature-coloured cotton lines and one contrast cultivar (white fiber upland cotton,Chuan56)were used to study the characters of cotton bolls and fiber development. The two nature-coloured lines (brown upland cotton FS-12 and green upland cotton 80540) have stable fiber-coloure genetical property . This paper choosed the method of decertralized-extracting samples and determine after flowering on different anthesis dates . And this papers goal lies in providing the scientific references for high yield and good quality planting of nature-coloured cotton to some extent. The results may be summaried as follows:1. Nature-coloured cotton have late fiber differentiation and development after flowering and have a slow speed of fiber elongation.2. During the development of nature-coloured cotton fiber , the speed of fiber cellulose accumulation was slow at the fast speed accumulation stage and the fiber cellulose accumulation value was low, too .3. During the development of nature-coloured cotton bolls , there were smaller boll volume , slow speed of dry weight of single boll shell accumulation , lower dry weight of fiber per boll and per seed.4. Nature-coloured cotton boll and fiber development have a tender reflection of temperature compared with the contrast (Chuan56) . It showed that there were two significant changes along with different anthesis dates include fiber quality and the accumulation of dry weight of cotton boll components.
