Research On The Species Diversity And The Ecological Gardens Construction In Xiamen Island

Based on the investigation on trees species within city greening plant communities in Xiamen, the species diversity, richness and spatial distribution pattern, present condition of the urban biodiversity, ecological structure of the gardens plant community and present condition of constructing ecological gardens were analyzed. The results of the studying showed that there are only 81 kinds whose appearance frequency is high, which meant abundant species of the south subtropics has not been taken full advantage of. The species diversity of Wanshi botanical garden is highest, its weighed average trees is 11.75 whichs showed that botanical garden has the important function on protecting the urban biodiversity. The species diversity of street trees is lowest, and its weighed average trees is 3.02 which reflected that street trees is singleness and vegetation types and community is hiberarchy simpleness. The city gardens planning payed more attention to pursuing landscape, and ecological consciousness is not strong. The whole is similar to each other for the gardens plant communities. Also the city greenbelt planning payed more attention to the virescence respective, and it is not form the green net with the suburban and circumjacent greenbelt Based on the analyzing and combining with factual condition of Xianmen island, this paper proposes that the least area of urban gardens plant communities is 250 m2 and the least area of suburban gardens plant communities is 300m2; advocats that ecological gardens is target pattern of the city gardens planning, by amalgamating with the research result of ecology, urban ecology, landscape ecology and corresponding intersectional subject and building city ecological gardens greenbelt system in order to improve the urban entironment and content to request of landscape enjoying, and improve the quality and quantity of the city gardens plant communities , and perfect their function, and build beautiful landscape with nature and artificial. The recognition and protection of the everglade zone, ecological flimsy belt edge belt and ecotoneb should be enhanced. Connecting the suburban and circumjacent greenbelt is propitious to exert the ecological benefit enough and ameliorate the city environmental standing of the city gardens plant communities.
