Study On Automatic Grafting Technology For Solanaceous Vegetable

In order to improve grafting work efficiency and lighten labor intension for solanaceous vegetable,this paper investigates and analyses development situations of vegetables automatic grafting at home and aboard. A eggplant-grafting machine is also designed,which consists of grafting devices and microcontroller.On the basis of comparison between mechanical and manual grafting method,considering growth characteristics and physic properties of solanaceous vegetable,the author selected CLEAVAGE-PLUG as the mechanic automatic grafting method,and designed mechanic devices to do grafting work. Cutting device and working manipulator are deeply studied in the paper. MCS-51 application system is used as the controller of grafting machine. The hardware,software and anti-interference technology are introduced and thoroughly analyzed. Research results suggest designed machine can automatically finish grafting process,but working precision would be improved in future.
