The research of the influence of morphological,physiological, biochemical indexes and photosynthetic character in the different culture types and ecological cucumber seedling period was carried out in order to select the determining indexes and methods in tolerance of weak light and provide theory for producer and serve for the breeding scientists. The experimental results showed: different varieties of Cucumber were treated in the weak light with two functional leaves in the artificial climate chamber. 1.with the development of treatment days, stem diameter,leaf area,leaf quality,fresh weight,dry weight and the ratio of dry weight to fresh weight all increased.There was obvious difference in morphological indexes in the 6th of treatment days.With the decreasing of light intensity, stem diameter became thin, leaf quality,fresh weight,dry weight and the ratio of dry weight to fresh weight decreased,while leaf area and specific leaf area increased. 2. With the development of treatment days,the content of MDA and the activity of POD and SOD increased.There was obvious difference in the 4th day of treatment days in the different culture types and in the 3th day of treatment days in the different ecological cucumber varieties. With the decreasing of light intensity ,the content of MDA ,the activity of CAT,POD and ratio of chl(a/b) increased and the content of chla,chlb,chl(a+b) and the activity of SOD decreased. 3.The photosynthetic ratio was determined after treament of 9 days and recovery 2 days.The photosynthetic ratio and light compensation decreased obviously with the temperature decreasing in the same light intensity. The photosynthetic ratio of protected varieties decreased more obviously than of field varietiesAThe relative analysis of morphological , physiological and biochemical indexes were showed:the relative relation was higher between the ratio of dry weight to fresh weight,leaf quality and specific leaf area,and between the activity of CAT , SOD and POD.The photosynthetic ratio was different obviously among the different varieties.So,we first could identify leaf quality,specific leaf area,dry weight,ratio of dry weight to fresh weight,the activity of SOD,POD and CAT,and photosynthetic ratio as determinging indexes.
