Two parts of the research were carried out in the present study: the determination of the proper condition of the acetate infusion and the influence of green grass addition on feed ruminal degradation.Trial 1Three ruminal cannulated xiaoweihan sheep(averaging30kg)were used. The sheep were fed once every hour with auto machine. This experiment consisted of three parts. The first part was a preliminary trial: three pH and three concentrate antiacid fluid were compounded randomly and produced nine fluid. The second part was carried out under the base of the preliminary trial. Then, a trial in vitro was performed in order to validate the reliability of the method. Before the experiment rumen liquid volume was determined. The results are as follows: The proper amount of acetate acid infusion is about 0.3 mol. And the Ph value is determined according to the rumen enviroment. When the sheep were fed on the feedstuff which concentrate to roughage ratio is 4:6, the producing rate of the acetic acid is 190.87umol/h. And it's 0.21mmol/h when it's determined in vitro. The two amount is very close. So we can conclude that the method is reliable. Trial 2 Five ruminal cannulated shaoweihan sheep(averaging30kg)were used in this experiment. The sheep were fed once every hour with auto machine. The experiment is consists of three period, the concentrate and roughage ratio is 2:8,4:6,6:4,the level of the green folder is 0,5%,10% and 20%.Three sheep were divided to the three level of the concentrate and roughage ratio and the supplementation of the green folder, and latin squre .Two of the sheep were fed without green folder and as the comparison. Before experiment, the stability of feed marked with Cr in the rumen was determined. During period of each experiment, effects of concentrate level on digestibility, intake and nitrogen balance of sheep were studied. The ruminal passage rate anddegradability of feedstuffs were estimated, at the same time, the pH value, concentrations of VFA in the rumen were measured red. The results showed as follows:1With the supplementation of green fodder increasing, the outflow of the rumen increase, and when the concentrate and roughage ratio is 6:4. the diffrence is the greatest notable.2 The supplementation of green folder decreased the digestibility of the nutrient of the wheat bran and soybean. But it can increase the maize's digestibility.3Any level of the supplementation of green fodder can all increase the effient digestibility of the wheat bran and with the increasing of the concentrate and roughage ratio, the trend is more notable.4The type of the diet don't affect the ruminal pH value. When the level of the supplementation is 5% and 10%, it can increase the ruminal pH value, but when the level is 20%,the pH value decrease,however.5With the level of supplementation increasing, the scale and the production rate of the acetic acid have the trend to increase.
