The difference of kernel protein content, kernel GMP content, zeleny sedimentation, wet gluten content, dough farinograph index, kernel amylose content and kernel amylopectin content, ratio of amylose and amylopectin among Yannong15, Jinan17, 509, Taishan201, Lumai22, Lumai18, 914391, Taishan021, 936098 and the physiological basis wer studied at experiment farm of Shandong Agriculture university from 2001 to 2002. The results were as fellows:1The partition of kernel quality among different cultivars of wheat The 9 cutivars with different protein content, different wet gluten content, the zeleny sedimentation, different dough stability time were partitioned into 3 groups: the group with long dough stability time and high zeleny sediment- ation was groupâ… ,concluding Yannong15, Jinan 17, 509, the group with short dough stability time and low zeleny sedimentation was groupâ…¡, concluding Taishan 201, Lumai22, Lumai18, the group with common dough stability time and common zeleny sedimentation was groupâ…¢, concluding 914391, Taishan021, 936098.2The characteristics of absorbing and distribution of nitrogen in fertilizer in different cultivars of wheat The results of research by using 15N isotope to study the absorbing and distribution of nitrogen from fertilizer showed that 25% of the nitrogen absorbed by wheat was from the fertilizer, and 70% was from the soil, and that the effect of topdressing was larger the base. To compare the three cultivars, T021 absorbed much more nitrogen from topdressing and less from base fertilizer, and during the filling of kernels, the effect of translation of nitrogenfrom fertilizer in vegetals to kernel was little, which was the physiological basis for low protein content. On the orter hand, L22 absorbed less nitrogen from topdressing and less from base fertilizer, but during the filling of kernels, the effect of translation of nitrogen from fertilizer in vegetals to kernel was high, which was the physiological basis for high protein content.3The relation of absorbing and distribution of nitrogen and the content of protein among different cultivars of wheat with different kernel quality Yannong15, Lumai22, 509 had much more ability to absorb nitrogen before anthesis than other cultivars and a little less after anthesis, but they had high efficiency of nitrogen translocation from leaves, stems, sheaths and spikes to kernels. Then they got most the content of protein. 914391, Taishan021, 936098 had much ability to absorb nitrogen before and after anthesis, but they had low effeciency of nitrogen translocation from leaves, stems, sheaths and spikes to kernels. Then they got common content of protein. Taishan201, Lumai 18 and Jinan17 had much less ability to absorb nitrogen before and after anthesis, but they had high efficiency of nitrogen translocation from l leaves, stems, sheaths and spikes to kernels. Then they got lest content of protein.4The relation of assimilation of nitrogen and the content of protein among different cultivars of wheat with different kernel qualityFrom the view of the activity of nitrate reductase(NR) in flag leaves, the activity of NR in flag leaves got the peak at anthesis and then began to decline. At anthesis, the activity of NR in Yannong15, Jinan 17, 509 were highest, 914391,Taishan021,936098 were lowest, and Taishan 201,Lumai22 were common. With kernel filling, the activity of NR declined fastly. After 21 days since anthesis, 914391,Taishan021, 936098 had much more activity of NR than any other cultivar. The kernel had much lower level of NR activity than the leaf and got the peak after 14 days since anthesis. With the kernel filling, the activity of NR in kernels of Yannong15 and Jinan 17 were super to others.From the view of the activity of glutamine synthetase (GS) in flag leaves, he activity of GS in flag leaves got the peak at anthesis and then began todecline. Fromt anthesis to 21th since anthesis, the activity of GS in Yannong15, Jinan17 and 509 were highest, 914391,Taishan021 and 936098 were low...
