Based on forest type map(1: 25000), digitized terrain map (1:50000) and general investigated material of 1999, two classes landscape types were divided in YingChun Bureau of Forestry. Supported by the GIS software Arc view and statistics software FRAGSTATS of landscape index, the landscape spatial pattern of the region was analyzed and assessed using landscape ecological principles, such as mass size, shape index, diversity index, fractal dimension, dominance, fragmentation. Then, combining with the status in quo of locating in SanJiang plain and intermix with fanning and forest, The author analysised its eco-frangibility and eco-essentiality. At last, a reasonable ecology programming is advanced. The result are: (1) The main body in YingChun is forest management, woodland and infield interleaving together. Agriculture production possesses a sizable proportion. Woodland, infield and everglade are disturbed badly. The degree of patch fragmentation is very high. (2) Broad-leaves forest is in the dominant, but its distributing is very disperse, pin-leaves forest patches take on a collective state; the shape of nature forest patch is very complex, the shape of plantation patch is very codex; (3) Superior and middle travel of river, everglade, naked-field, upsweep and the interleaving strap of woodland and infield are ecological frangibility area and need to be protected strictly. This study paved a way for the planning of the sustainable management and the protection of the bio-diversity.
