Preparation of egg yolk antibody powder against Enterotoxigenic Escherichia Coli is good for the corresponding pathogenic diarrhea on the piglets. In this experiment, egg yolk antibody powder against Enterotoxigenic Escherichia Coli (K88, K99, 987P) was investigated to grope whether the egg yolk antibody IgY was absorbed to the cyc-blood through the gasintestinal wall, validate the curative effects on the piglets' diarrhea, and do research on the stability of the IgY in powder to the temperature, pH, storage time and treatment with pepsin. The paper includes four series of the experiments:Series 1. Nineteen suckling piglets, six weaned piglets and eight ripe rat were administered orally with egg yolk antibody powder suspended in the water. Blood sample were phlebotomized before and after the treatment. Immunoactivity of the anti-k88+E.coli were mensurated on each sample. A raise of the immunoactivity in the serum of partial suckling piglets was found. It suggested that the egg yolk antibody IgY was absorbed to the cyc-blood through the gasintestinal wall of the suckling piglets (11 or 13-days-old).Series 2. 1) Egg yolk antibody powder against Enterotoxigenic Escherichia Coli (K88, K99, 987P) was treated with different temperature (50 -90 ), timing sampling each half hours, 2) the same type powder was treated with different pH grads(pH1.27-11), 3)five types of egg yolk antibody powder were kept at 4 for different periods(2, 4, 6, 10, 16 months). Immunoactivity of the anti-k88+E.coli were mensurated in each sample. The results demonstrated that the immunoactivity of the IgY in powder was steady below 70 , a decrease on the immunoactivity was observed when the temperature was over 70 , and the great mass of the immunoactivity lost at 90 . The immunoactivity began to lose when the value of pH was below 4.0, and only 25% is left at the value of pH is 1.27. The egg yolk antibody powder was able to be kept at 4 for 4-6 months.Series 3. 1) The egg yolk powder mixed with 3% pepsin suspended in the buffer solution (pH4.0) at 37 , timing sampling each 60 minutes. Immunoactivity of theanti-k88+E.coli were mensurated in each sample. The results demonstrated that the immunoactivity in the test samples rose in the first several hours.Series 4. Preparation of egg yolk antibody powder against Enterotoxigenic Escherichia Coli (K88, K99, 987P) was administrated orally to the piglets, which were in yellow diarrhea or white diarrhea. The piglets in comparison group were injected with antibiotics. The results demonstrated that this preparation was able to cure the suffering piglets, and in this experiment the cure ratio is 100%.
