The neonatal piglet diarrhea is a common disease caused by Enterotoxigenic Escherichia Coli (ETEC). This disease can spread quickly and has a high mortality. The pathogenesis of ETEC is mainly related to enterotoxin (ST and LT) and adhesion. Firstly ETEC attach to specific receptor in the epithelium cells of small intestine by means of the adhesive fimbriae in order to settle down and reproduce without eliminated by movement of the intestine stuff. Then ETEC produce and accumulate enterotoxin to make the epithelium cell excrete sthenicly, after that the diarrhea will appear. In the production, we mostly use multivalent vaccines and gene vaccines to inoculate pregnant swine for preventing this disease. But the antibody from mother swine is too little to protect the neonatal piglet as well as individual difference. To treat this disease, we usually use antibacterial medicine or antiserum, however, drug resistant and residue will appear if the piglet use antibacterial medicine for too long time, and this will threaten the health of animals and human beings. So it is the most effective method to prevent and cure this disease by using specific antibody to prevent the adhesion of ETEC to the epithelium cell. Although the neonatal piglet had this antiserum can prevent diarrhea, it is restrained because of high cost and low production. Chicken yolk antibody (IgY), as a immunoglobulin, its function is similar to antiserum IgG, in addition to low cost and high production. So there are chances of developing a new kind of biological medicine instead of antibacterial drugs. In this study, we use two methods to detect the titers of IgY against F41, one is micro-agglutination and the other is agar gel diffusion precipitin test (AGP). And then compare the two methods. The results show that the two methods are both available for detecting IgY, but the titer from AGP are two levels higher than the other. And based on the above conclusion, we decide to use micro-agglutination to test antiserum IgG and yolk antibody IgY regularly after inoculating deadly Escherichia Coli multivalent vaccine (K88, K99, F41 and 987P). The results indicate that the appearance of IgG is earlier that IgY, the ebb and flow of IgG is similar to that of IgY, but there are obvious differences between different antibodies (987P>K99>F41>K88), and in the entire study, the level of IgG is higher than IgY.According to the trials of adhesion and adhesion-inhibition to the epithelium cells,...
