Chuan Qiao 1, KP9920 and Yu 6-21 were selected as the induction material in this experiment, mutants occurred through the dry seeds of tartary buckwheat were irradiated by 60C-γ Rays in different doses. The germination experiment show that the degree of sensitive to rays is various with varieties. the rank is 6-21>1>9920. The dose of 100-200 Gy is recommended as suitable irradiation dose for tartary buckwheat dry seeds. The f lavone contents in seeds of M2 tartary buckwheat were tested, the result is that the mean flavone content is higher than the control. So it is available that quality of tartary buckwheat is improved by radiation. The degree of increasing in flavone is various with varieties after irradiation. 1 increse more, while other do less.Nutrient ingredients were analysed for 27 mutants of high f lavone content, the result is that flavone, Soluble protein, all N, Zn and Mg in the three varieties are higher than the control, while Mn is lower, and other nutrient ingredients are without obvious change. The selected mutants of tartary buckwheat were integrated quality evaluation by the method of the relational grade analysis of the grey system theory, the result is that: analysis of weighted relation grade show No. 44 treated by 200 Gy, No. 53 treated by 100 Gy and No. 26 treated by 100 Gy is the best among 1, 9920 and 6-21 respectively; and analysis of unweighted relation grade show No. 96 treated by 100 Gy. No. 22 treated by 200 Gy and No. 34 treated by 200 Gy is the best among 1, 9920 and 6-21 resspectively. The relational grade analysis between flavone and other nutrient ingredients show :there is ralation between them, and the rank of ralation grade isall N>Mg>Mn> Soluble protein > K > Cu > Zn > Crude fat > Soluble carbohydrate > Ca > Fe .
