For inquiring into the possibility of low seeding density cultivation and study on the characters of cluster and tillers under field condition, eleven spring wheat cultivars (lines) grown in great area in Hei Long Jiang province were selected for the experiment. We designed three experimental treatments: A1 the conventional treatment, had 6 million basic seedlings per hectare; A2, A3 the low seeding density treatments ,each had 4.5 and 3.0 million basic seedlings per hectare, then added compacting in seeding stage and applying fertilizer in three leaves stage , fertilization for head sprouting . So the appearing of tillers , accumulation of dry matter form characters yield and yield components of main stem and tillers were studied by field experiment .The result were summarized as follows:The qualities of tillers were improved as the results of increasing of height and width of tillers and the tillers' haleness, at last, earing percentage increased. The earing percentage had a negative relationship with basic seeding, and an active relationship with yield . The earing percentage of all the experimental varieties showed that A3>A2>Alin field plots, and A2 was 19.64percentage higher than Al, A3was 29.95 percentage higher than A1,and there were some varieties' earing percentage above 50%,such as DongNong 123,LongMai 15,DongNongl24,LongMai 20 AND DongNong 125.With the managing of low seeding density, all of the yield components have been improved, main stem and tillers both concluded. The harvesting number per plant were raised under low seeding density ,and the grain number per plant, grain weight of spike of main stem and tillers and thousand kernel weight had the same trend, the length of spike and the totalnumber of spiklets were also included in these. There had the same law for all of the yield components, that was A3>A2>A1, in contrast, there are greater influence on grain number and grain weight of spike, and least effects on thousand kernel weight. The grain number and grain weight of spike between A3 and A1 treatments received 0.01 level significance , A3 treatment gained 8.57 grains excessive than A1 treatment for mean, and A2 treatment gained 5.49 grains excessive than A1 treatment for mean. And A2, A3 treatments accepted more than 0.30g and 0.37g weight of grains respectively. For tillers' yield components, A2 treatment harvested much more 0.91cm length of spike, 1.03 total number of spikelets, 3.96 number of grain and 0.10 weight of grain than Al; and A3 treatment had overrun e 1.21cm length of spike, 1.98 total number of spikelets, 6.17 number of grain and 0.31 weight of grain than Al.The biological and economical yield of spring wheat varieties were both increased under low seeding density. The biological yields of main stem under A2 and A3 treatments overrun the data under A1 treatment 0.6g and 1.14g respectively; with the increasing of earing percentage, and the improving of yield components, these all made the biological yield of tillers have the similar trends, for A2treatment ,it had 0.43g excessive A1,and A31.28g. The economical yield of plant act as the components of biological yield, also received effectively increase, for all, A2 treatment had 0.35g more than A1, and A3 had 0.79 more than...
