In this study, 200 Abroe Acoe(AA) commercial broiler males and females were purchased at 1 day of age. At 15d old age, the broilers were randomly assigned into 2 groups. 100 were fed at thermoneutral condition (22-23℃); the other 100 were fed at low temperature condition(9-11℃) in order to induce ascites.1. The ascites occurrence rate of treatment group fed at normal temperature condition was 3%, but the control group showed a occurrence rate of 18%. Statistically analysis showed significant difference between them(P<0.05).2. After one week of low temperature treatment(21d), the PAP was 2.28±0.45kpa, and it reached to the peak at 42d with a value of 4.72±0.89kpa, then decreased dramatically. After 28d old age, the PAP was significantly different from that of 21d(p<0.05). After one week, the PAP of the normal group was 2.11±0.53kpa, after 28d old age, the PAP was also significantly different from that of 21d(p<0.05). During 28~49 day, there was a significant difference of PAP between low temperature treatment group and normal group(p<0.01).3. The ascites heart index(AHI) was dynamically measured, after one week of low temperature treatment(21d), the AMI was 22.4±1.45%, and it reached to the peak at 42d with a value of 33.8±2.89%, then decreased dramatically. After 28d old age, the AHI increased quickly and was significantly different from that of 21d(p<0.05). After one week, the AHI of the normal group was 21.2±2.3%, after 28d old age, the AHI was also significantly different from that of 21d(p<0.05). During 28~49 day, there was a significant difference of AHI between low temperature treatment group and normal group(p<0.01).4. The Angll amount of thermoneutral group gradually increased and peaked at 35d old age, then slightly decreased. In low temperature group, the Angll amount gradually increased and peaked at 42d old age with 1089.6 ±411.5 pg.ml-1, then slightly decreased at 49d. There showed a significant difference(P<0.05) between the two groups of the angII at the same treatment day. Three ascitic broilers from normal temperature group was measured for angll, a average of 1165.8 ±380.5 pg.ml-1 was obtained. Ten ascitic broilers from normal temperature group was measured for angll, a average of 1125.8±243.5 pg·ml-1 was obtained. The data of PAP, AHI and Angll were comprehensively analyzed, there showed a correlation between them. It is concluded that AngII up-regulate during formation of PH and ascites, it was speculated that Angll plays an important role in formation of pulmonary hypertension and ascites induction.
