The batch experiments were carried out on the experimental farm of Anhui Agricultural University from 2001 to 2003, by two methods, potted method in which four living phases rice and two levels water crossing act were used; dry and water cultivation field experiments method in which water cultivation and dry cultivation were used; and executed the analyses of relativity, returning, main component, relative effect rate, variance; according to various water level treatments, and the results as follows:1.Rice dry cultivation and heavy water threatening pot cultivation show that the all yields lowered fiercely in comparison with normal rice cultivation. The water sensitivity of rice in different living phases as follows: the late spike differentiation phaseï¹¥the filling phaseï¹¥the late filling phase, and the main causes are spike flower's degeneration and fecundity rate's falling.2.Dry and water cultivation field experiments method indicates: with the machining quality and nourishment quality decreasing, the steaming quality increases. As for appearance quality apparently decrease as well as transparence, but does not the chalky rice rate ,chalky degree japonicaï¼›while in indicia just the reverse.3 . From the experimental material, combining the results of principal component and multi-factor regression analysis, dry cultivation japonica rice appearance quality (transparence degree X6, chalky degree X5) and steaming quality(alkali-spreading value X7,gel consistency X8) have a close relation with rice quality, with its regression equation: Y=1.485X4-0.228X5+0.710X6+35.234X7+2.646X8+0.233X10-89.552(R2=0.934**);meanwhile, japonica rice dry cultivation alkali-spreading value(X7), rice shape have also close relation with general rice quality, with its regression equation : Y=0.966X3+59.683X7+0.149X10-37.972(R2=0.503*). So during the high quality rice industrialization, such long shape, high alkali-spreading value, high transparence, low chalk, high steaming quality japonica rice that could be put into production..4. By potted method it can be apparently that the early spike differentiation phase and the late spike differentiation phase have no direct relation between each other in different living phases and different disposal, but have severe something with the late filling phase; just like the joint phases to rice yield, the late spike differentiation phase and the early filling phase. Considering the two factors, yield and quality, it should be done that "interval of shallow and soil irrigation" method in the late spike differentiation phase and the early filling phase, and the soil containing water should achieve the field holding water at 75%~80%.
