The attraction of the petroleum ether extracting and acetone extracting of 15 botanical materials to the oriental fruit fly(Bactrocera dorsalis Hende) was judged,the results' indicated that guava,sugar apple.star fruit and aloe had a little attraction to the oriental fruit fly.The further studies on the attraction rate of oriental fruit fly to various extracting,including the petroleum ether extracting,aceton extracting, water extracting and dichloridemethane extracting extracted the difference body of guava,sugar and star fruit,indicated that the attraction will be difference according to various body of the botanical material and the change of the concentration of the extracting.On the basis of the attraction rate of oriental fruit fly to various extracting that extracted the plant extractings& the results of the results of the GC-MS of fruit guava,the results of the orchard tests,it was certificated that three chemical reagent including methyl acetate.citric acid&benzoic acid had a little attraction to the adult of oriental fruit fly.the ability of attraction in sequence is methyl acetate,citric acid and benzoic acid.The studies on the attracting time indicate that the number of adult in dark was more than in the day.The results of studies on adding 7 kinds of oviposition-lured material on the surface of the feeding to attract the oriental fruit fly to lay eggs indicated that the adults could lay eggs on the surface of feeding and the best material was the skin of guava fruit.Studies on the relationship between the pH of 4 kinds host fruit of oriental fruit fly, Pisidum guajava L,Annona squaamosa L,Clausena lansium and Passionfora edulis f. flavicarpa Deg at fruit growth stages and the pupation & eclosion of oriental fruit fly indicated that the pH of fruit could affect on the pupation & eclosion of oriental fruit fly.
