The oriental fruit fly,Bactrocera dorsalis(Hendel)(Diptera:Tephritidae),is an important agricultural scratching mouthparts pest in large parts of tropical Asia,is China's second-class quarantine pest.The larva of Bactrocera dorsalis is the main pest: the adult lays eggs in the fruit.After the larva is hatched,it feeds on the pulp,which causes the fruit to rot or to fall off.Then,the fruit yield and fruit quality has been affected.In this paper,the occurrence regularity of oriental fruit fly(Viper dorsalis)in kiwifruit orchard was studied by indoor research and field control effect.The toxicity test and oviposition repellent test of the adult fruit fly were carried out by means of the membrane method and spray method,using the volatiles of botanical extracts.The phototaxis behavior of oriental fruit fly to 14 light waves was detected with optical instruments,and the insecticidal activities in the field were also carried out.Control effect of light and attractant combination on Bactrocera dorsalis.The main results are as follows:1 Toxicity and oviposition repellent activity of extracts from plants to Bactrocera dorsalis Hendel10 kinds of plant essential oils(lemongrass oil,geranium oil,laurel oil,rosemary oil,ginger oil,litsea cubeba oil,thyme oil,camphor oil,citronella oil,mint oil)were tested for their contact and oviposition deterrent repellent activity against the Bactrocera dorsalis Hendel.The results showed that when the concentration was 7mg/mL,the better contact effects of 10 kinds of plant essential oils were citronella oil,lemongrass oil,thyme oil and litsea cubeba oil.The corrected mortality rates were87.78%,85.56%,81.11% and 78.89% respectively.Laurel oil also were certain degree effective in toxicity,and the corrected mortality rate was 41.11%.Five plant essential oils with toxicity for Bactrocera dorsalis Hendel showed different oviposition deterrent activities,and the oviposition deterrent rate gradually increased with the increase of concentration.Among them,the citronella oil hold the best oviposition deterrent effect.When the concentration was 7 mg / mL,the oviposition deterrent rate was 80.77%.It shows that citronella essential oil,lemongrass essential oil,thyme essential oil,and pheasant essential oil have strong toxic effects on Bactrocera dorsalis,and citronella essential oil has better repellency to Bactrocera dorsalis.Six plant extracts,including Eupatorium adenophorum,Ailanthus altissima,Acorus calamus,Artemisia annua,peony and camphor tree,were extracted by ultrasonic extraction method,and the toxicity and oviposition repellent activity of the extracts were determined.The results showed that the ethanol extracts of Eupatorium adenophorum,Artemisia annua,Ailanthus altissima and Acorus calamus had a strong toxic effect on the adult of Bactrocera dorsalis.When the concentration was 50 mg/mL,the corrected mortality was 100%,87.78%,100% and 100%,respectively.The ethanol extracts of Paeonia odorata and camphor tree showed weak toxicity to adult of Bactrocera dorsalis.With the increase of concentration,the toxicity of six plant ethanol extracts to adult of Bactrocera dorsalis are increased.In the test of oviposition repellent activity,the extracts of six plants had certain oviposition repellent activity to Bactrocera dorsalis.And the higher the concentration of the extracts,the higher the oviposition repellent rate.When the concentration was 100 mg/mL,the ethanol extracts of Eupatorium adenophorum and Ailanthus altissima had better effect,the oviposition repellent rate was 84.35% and 81.46% respectively.Followed by that of Acorus calamus,the oviposition repellent rate was 65.15%.The extracts of Artemisia annua,peony and camphor also showed a certain oviposition repellent effect,the oviposition repellent rates were 52.71%,59.22% and 51.02%respectively.It shows that the ethanol extracts of Eupatorium adenophorum,Artemisia altissima,Ailanthus altissima and Acorus calamus have a strong toxic effect on Bactrocera dorsalis,and the ethanol extracts of Eupatorium adenophorum and Ailanthus altissima have better repellency against Bactrocera dorsalis Sex.2 Phototaxis of adult Bactrocera dorsalis to different light wave and light source distanceThe effects of 14 kinds of monochromatic light waves and different light source distances on the phototaxis of adult Bactrocera dorsalis were studied by optical experiments.The results showed that the wave length of the most preferred light wave of adult was 520 nm and 540 nm,and the phototaxis rate was 15.33% and 15.00%,respectively.The lowest phototaxis rate was 1.67%,and the length of the light wave was 360 nm.There was no significant difference between CK control and dark control.The phototaxis rate of 0.5 m away from the light source was significantly higher than that of 1.0 m,1.5 m and 2.0 m away from the light source,but the variance analysis of520 nm and 540 nm away from the same light source showed no significant difference.It shows that Bactrocera dorsalis has a better phototaxis effect on 520 nm and 540 nm monochromatic light waves,and the greater the light intensity,the higherthe phototaxis rate.3 Study on the control technology of the combination of attractant and insecticidal lamp to Bactrocera dorsalisIn this paper,three methods of trapping adult of Bactrocera dorsalis were studied including single insecticidal lamp,single attractant,combination of insecticidal lamp and attractant.The results showed that all of the 3 methods were effective in trapping the Bactrocera dorsalis.The best one was eugenol with an average trapping amount of 201.67 per trap in single attractant.The average trapping amount was 509.67 per trap,with an average trapping amount of 2.53 times that of eugenol in combination of insecticidal lamp and attractant.Compared with single insecticidal lamp and single attractant,the combination of insecticidal lamp and attractant can increase the total amount of adult trapping.
