Mycoplasma gallisepticum infection is a common chronic respiratory disease (CRD) in chicken. Mycoplasmahyopneumoniae of swine (MPS) is a local epidemic disease mainly damaging to the lung caused by Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae . The major method to control these diseases is using medicine to prevent and treat the disease. Acetylisovaleryl tylosion is a new antibiotic of the "macro lide" class with the characteristics of good effect to sterilization , lower residual and stability. Acetylisovaleryl tylosion is a good veterinary medicinal product and widely used. The aim of these trials is to demonstrate the effect of Acetylisovaleryl tylosion made in China on mycoplasmosis.1. Acetylisovaleryl tylosion tartrate powder could totally protect the experimental infection with Mycoplasma.gallisepticum. The protective rate and curative rate could respectively reach 100% and 92% - 100%. Acetylisovaleryl tylosion tartrate powder could decrease the mortality rate, pathological changes of air-sac and weight loss caused by Mycoplasma.gallisepticum . Acetylisovaleryl tylosion tartrate powder made in China has a similar efficiency to that made abroad. The air-sac infection could be completely eliminated using the high dose(300ppm)Acetylisovaleryl tylosion tartrate.2. Acetylisovaleryl tylosion premix has the effect to reduce the mortality rate, pathological changes of air-sac and weight loss caused by artificial infection with Mycoplasma.gallisepticum . Acetylisovaleryl tylosion has a significant effect on reducing the pathological changes of air-sac , with a direct ratio to the dosage. 21 days after infection, the rate of pathological changes of air-sac and the reducing rate of the air-sac lession score of those treatment group (100ppm,200ppm,300ppm) and drugcontrol group (200ppm ) are respectively 60%, 24%, 8%, 20% and 55.48%, 88.78%, 97.48%, 87.06%. Comparing the result of 21th days after infection to the one of 14th days, the rate of air-sac lesion reduce from 40 % to 8 %, but the reducing rate of air-sac lesion score rises from 77.14 % to 97.48 %. Two kinds of products (domestic and abroad) have a similar efficiency.3. In conclusion, Acetylisovaleryl tylosion has the significant ability to control the clinical signs of Mycoplasmosis of swine, reduce the damage of the disease, and improve the weight. The result also show that the effect of the two kinds of products (domestic and abroad) are high effective and no different.
