This experiment was conducted to select a kind of nano-adsorbent in vitro and study the adsorption effects of NAMH for fluorine in the gastro-intestinal tract and its effects antagoning the toxicity of fluoride in pigs.The NAMH was added to the solution of fluorine in vitro in order to study the effectiveness at various pH, temperature and the material quantity compared to the other sorbent. It showed that the saturated adsorption quantity was 700 mg/kg and the optimal accession was under the equation of Cnamh : Cf = 5:2. The optimal pH value was 4 and there was no resolution when the pH of solution ranged from 2 to 7. As the adsorption results of different material, it indicated that the NAMH was the best material and in turn the powdery MgO, Al2O3 and active carbon.Seventy tow pigs(PIC) were randomly allotted to four groups by weight and sex(barrow, gilt),each of which was replicated three times with six pigs per replicate . The groups received the same basal diet, and four different treatments were experimented: control(containing 50mg/kg F-) ,trial 1(T1,supplemented with 0.2% NAMH),trial 2(T2, supplemented with 150mg/kg F-),trial 3(T3, supplemented with 150mg/kg F-and 0.2% PBAN). They were acclimatized for 7 days before starting of the experiment which lasting 90 days. All pigs were given ad libitum acess to feed and tap water. After feeding trials ,eight pigs in each treatment were selected based on similar live weight and slaughted , at the same time , samples required were collected . It was collected to measure fluorine concentration of rib, teeth, muscle, fat, liver, kidney, serum, heart, lung, pancreas, bile, urine and feces. The concentration of GSH-Px, SOD in serum and liver and kidney, activity of GOT, GPT, ALP and concetration of Ca, P, TP, ALB, SUN, IgG, IgM, IgA in serumThe results of feeding trial showed (1) T2 decreased ADG by 14.49%(P<0.01), T1 and T3 increased ADG by 14.85%(P<0.01), 11.19%(P<0.05), as compared with control, respectively. T3 increased 30%(P<0.01), as compared with T2 (2) T1 and T3 decreased F/G ration by 12.38%(P<0.01), 8.05%(P<0.05), as compared with control, respectively.T3 decreased F/G ration by 17.96%(P<0.01), in contrast to T2The effects of NAMH on the concentration of fluorine in organs were as follows: (1) The concentration of fluorine in rib and teeth of T1 were decreased by 46.16%(P<0.01), 31.46%(P<0.01), as compared with control, respectively. Those of T3 were decreased by 77.92%(P<0.01), 72.92%(P<0.01), as compared with T2, respectively. (2) The concentration of fluorine in liver, kidney, muscle and fat of T1 were decreased by 15.66%(P<0.01), 27.01%(P<0.05), 25.44%(P<0.01), 23.86%(P<0.05), as compared with control, respectively. Those of T3 decreased by 24.88%(P<0.01), 29.96%(P<0.01), as compared with T2. (3) The concentration of fluorine in heart, lung, spleen, serum and bile of T1 were decreased by 12.2%(P>0.05), 20.56%(P<0.01), 16.48%(P<0.01), 57.14%(P<0.01), 28.44%(P<0.01), as compared with control, respectively. Those of T3 were decreased by 13.98%(P<0.01), 16.1%(P<0.01), 17.76%(P<0.01), 78.47%(P<0.01), 28.8%(P<0.01), in contrast to T2 respectively.The excretion fluorine in diet showed that the content of fluorine in manure and urine of T1 were elevated by 97.95%(P<0.01), 52.12%(P<0.01), as compared with control, respectively. Those of T3 was increased by 116.02%(P<0.01), 83.14%(P<0.01), in contrast to T2 respectively.The effect of NAMH on antioxiding property of pigs showed that : in contrast to control, the activity of GSH-Px in liver and serum of T2 were decreased by 28.38%(P<0.01), 5.2%(P<0.05), respectively. Its activity of SOD was decreased by 13.04%(P<0.01), 12.83%(P<0.05), respectively. In contrast to control, the activity of GSH-Px in liver and serum of T3 was increased by 6.83%(P>0.05), 11.72%(P<0.01), its activity of SOD were elevated by 14.09%(P<0.01), 9.26%(P<0.05), respectively.
