In order to obtain the physiological mechanism and get high yield and quality principle of spur-type peach trees. 'Super red Spur' and zhaohongzhu were used to study the biological and economical traits, genetic stability and application in production of'Super red Spur'. Under drought, photosynthetic rate, transpiration rate, stomata conductance, water use efficiency and carboxylation efficiency had also been studied. The results showed:1. After top-grafting and repeatedly budding, the results showed that there were no significant differences in the biological and economical traits, primary phonological date. Therefore it was concluded that the straits of 'Super red Spur' keeps stability in heredity.2. Super red Spur's crown of the trees is compact, short new tip, short (only 2/3 zhaohongzhu's) inter-node> big and thicker leaves, highly chlorophyll concentration, flower bud formed early and easily, flat shape fruit>fruit-per heaving 120g (heavier 30g than control's)-.round and deep concave fruit. The flower duration was later 2 days than the zhaohongzhu's, fruit puberty was about 55 days. Setting up the tendency stalwartly, tendency moderately growth, moved slowly outside. Its germination rate was higher, and it had more middle and short branches (accounting for more than 88%). It was main middle and short branches that bear fruits.3.Under drought, photosynthetic rate, transpiration rate, stomata conduct, water use efficiency and carboxylic efficiency of the 'Super red Spur' was higher than control's. This proved that the varieties of the spur-type peaches had higher physiological adaptability to the drought.4. 'Super red Spur' had a stronger self-flower bear fruit ability, but if Chun yan, Shu guang. Dan mo et al varieties were used for pollinate tree, the bearing fruit rate is higher.PBO can improve bearing fruit, output, per fruit weight and can control growth of the new tip. It was good to spray 2-3 times to the trees by 200 times every year.Chilling requirement of the 'Super red Spur' was about 450 hours.5. 'Super red Spur' had better early high yield effect after top grafting. Its crown restored fast in the first year, in the second year it had a larger number of fruits and it resumed getting fertility in third year. It was suitable for planting in high density. It can form the fertility colony structure in the first year and get fertility in the second year.
