Study On Introduction And Selection Of Clnnal Tea Improved Varieties In JiangSu Tea Area

Tea production is renowned for its long time and meticulous processing and varieties of famous tea production in Jiangsu tea area. The modern tea industry of Jiangsu leads other tea areas of our country for its numerous famous tea brands, high quality and output, elaborate processing technologies. The finer tea based the finer tea variety. Tea improved varieties is mostly sexual cultivation in Jiangsu tea area.Though adaptability and anti-inverse property of the sexual varieties have some advantage ,but its purity of tea variety and quality of tea are inferior to clonal varieties.In order to change the actuality of tea varieties in Jiangsu tea area and improve the growth mode of tea economy and set up the tea gardens of high quality, high yield, high efficient, the test research of introduction and selection clonal tea improved varieties in Jiangsu tea area was did under the support by Jiangsu Agriculture & Forestry Dept.After referring to technical data, consulting domestic authoritative organs and pay an on-the-spot investigation, considering of less climate difference compared with Jiangsu tea area, we fix 4 tea areas of Fujian, Zhejiang, Anhui and Hunan Among their tea clonal improved varieties ,25 varities for high quality ,shooting up early ,strong anti-inverse property ,suiting to process green tea mainly and black tea assistantly were selected and plantinged at 4 experimental bases of Jiangsu tea area. Their rate of transplant survival, tree crown shape and properties, sprouting period, weight of the trimmed for design finalization, output of fresh tea leaves, anti-inverse property, anti-coldness property, processing quality, status of unfolding pekoe , colour and cluster, size of bud leaves, type of renowned teas and adaptability of varieties were compared. The results showed that 8 high quality varieties are suitable for cultivation and natural conditions in Jiangsu tea area, includeing Zhenong 113, Longjing 43, Tingshuang, Zhenong 117, etc.Baseding on the research results and considering Jiangsu's current tea cultivation and development orientation, the article indicated that it is better to use Zhenong 113 and Longjing 43 as main variety and use Yingshuang, Zhenong 117, Qianfang as auxiliary variety and use Longjing Long Leave and Anji White Tea as tie-in variety for developing clonal tea improved varieties tea garden in Jiangsu tea area.
