It is main approach to heterosis utilization of rapeseed in china to yield hybrid by cytoplasmic male-sterile lines. At present most varieties of rapeseed hybrid in china utilized Shan2A CMS and Pol CMS to produce. But they are both sensitive to temperature. So it affects the purity of hybrid. Moreover,The oneness of cytoplasm is unfavorable to the development of rapeseed hybrid and has a potential danger of causing crushing disease. So breeding of new cytoplasmic male-sterile lines in Brassica napus is significant to the production development of rapeseed hybrid in china. A new cytoplasmic male-sterile line whose stamen changed into carpel or disappeared was found by professor Glimelius in Swedish University for Agricultural Science. To differentiate the speciality of the new cytoplasmic sterility,in this research comparative analysis on floral organ morphology,restoring and maintaining relation-ship, Esterase and Peroxidase Isozyme,RAPD analysis and the sequence of gene orf224 between the new cytoplasmic male-sterile line and Pol CMS, Shan2A CMS and Ogu CMS. The main results are as follow:1 .The petal of Gli CMS crimples.The stamen turns into featheriness, the form of the petal , silk form or degradates. Without anther structure, the carpel, it is protruding that the outer edge grows tumour form.The growing style of stamen and pistil is the adhesion type or the scattered type. The shape of pistil is straight or hooked. The opening style of flower is full-nfolded,half-closed or full-closed. There are 2 to 4 nectaries in a flower.Pistil can be pollinated. The floral organ of Gli CMS is different remarkably from the Pol CMS, Shan2A CMS and Ogu CMS. The floral organ of normal structure was gained through interspecific hybridization between Gli CMS and RF01 in B. napus. The rate of viable pollen grains is 91.7%. It is identical with nomal pollen grain by Scan of SEM.2. The restoring and maintaining relationship is mensurated through the hybridization between Shan2A CMS, Polmia CMS, Ogu CMS and Gli CMS and 26 varieties as male parents. The fertility of F1 that gained by the hybridization with 13 varieties as male parents is different among 4 cytoplasmic male-sterile lines. The F1 that gained by the hybridization between Gli CMS and 14 varieties as male parents that can maintain Pol CMS and Shan2A CMS. The F1 that gained by the hybridization between Gli CMS and 6 varieties as male parents that can restore Pol CMS and Shan2A CMS. 5 varieties can maintain the sterility of Gli CMS. 1 variety can maintain partly the sterility.The data indicated the restoring and...
