Through two planting modes of non-soil and soil, four varieties and three nourishment solutions designed by crack first time, the thesis researched that different planting modes and nourishment solution had have effect on yield properties, as well as the difference of physiological mechanism. Results were as follows.The research on tuber number and weight per plant indicated that there were noticeable difference or most noticeable difference between planting modes, nourishment solutions or varieties. Potato number and weight planted on non-soil were higher 72.6% and 145% than those on soil respectively. The effects of nourishment solutions on potato number and weight were all same, which order was Al, A2 and A3 from large to small. Different varieties had different yield by transaction with different planting modes and nourishment solutions. Namely Shapody with non-soil and A2, Eshu-3, Liangshu-97 and Gaoyuan-7 with non-soil and Al could gained the most number and weight of potatoes per plant.Through having researched growth potential of potato, the results showed that before starch accumulating (on 10 Nov.) potato growing on non-soil is faster than on soil. The biggest average increasing rate of plant height advanced seven days or so when potato was planted on non-soil compared with on soil. The rate on anon-soil is higher 0.1 cm/d than that on soil. With growth and development time prolonging, in potato planted on non-soil the green leaf area per plant was larger and the steady period of the largest leaf area was longer than those on soil. And the maximum leaf area of potato planted on non-soil was higher 16.34 percent than that of planted on soil. At the same time the lasting time of leaf area being higher 70 cm2 was about 35 days in potato planted on non-soil while that higher 65 cm2 was about 26 days planted on soil.The maximum of chlorophyll content advanced 27 days or so when potato was planted on non-soil compared with on soil. After planting 30 days (on 16 Nov.) chlorophyll content of potato planted on non-soil was more 5.4 percent than that on soil. Different nourishment solution haddifferent effects on growth potential of potato. After planting 30 days, Al, A2, and A3 had same effect on plant height and chlorophyll content, but Al was of more evident effect. Variety also influenced growth potential. The times of the average maximum increasing rate were about 31.5 days of Shapody, Liangshu-97 and Gaoyuan-7 and 28.5 days of Eshu-3. the order of the maximum growth rate in plant height was Eshu-3, Shapody, Liangshu-97 and Gaoyuan-7 from large to small.Through having researched protective enzymes and metabolizing product, the results indicated that After planting 30 days the activity of superoxide dismutase (SOD) and peroxidase (POD) in potato planted on non-soil was higher 5.1% and 59.90% than that on soil respectively. And also the soluble carbohydrate content was higher 38.00% in potato stem and leaf. After planting 70 days, the soluble nitrogen content was higher 25.00%. After planting 30 days, in the two planting modes, Al could promote SOD activity and soluble carbohydrate content evidently while the effect on promoting POD activity and soluble nitrogen content of Al was smaller than that of A2 and A3 after planting 30 days as well as at anaphase. There was little difference of SOD activity between varieties planted on non-soil. While SOD activity of Shapody was largest, Liangshu-97 inferior, Gaoyuan-7 smaller and Eshu-3 was the smallest.. At the same time there was also tremendous difference of POD activity, soluble nitrogen and soluble carbohydrate between the four varieties in the two planting modes.By having researched carbon and nitrogen metabolism, we found that after planting 30 days sucrose synthesizase in potato planted on non-soil was higher 21.86% than that on soil while the nitric acid deoxidizase difference is not obvious between planting modes. Sucrose and fructose content of stem and leaves in potato planted on non-soil was higher than that on soil distinctly while glucose content was reverse. In the two planting modes Al could lifted up nitric acid deoxidizase activity and fructose content greatly. Compared with the other nourishment solutions, the difference of promoting sucrose content was very little. There were distinctly different sucrose synthesizase and nitric acid deoxidizase activities between varieties in different plant mode. In addition, except that there was very little difference of fructose content between varieties planted on non-soil, the other saccharide contents of potato manifested different greatly in different planting mode.The resulted suggested that on the circumstances of integrated effects of exterior environment, after planting 30 days some inducing matters for tuberization would increase while other restraining matters would decrease. After planting 30 days GA3 content was large fewer than that in anaphase. And there was mot much difference of G A3 content between planting modes during tuberizing and inflating. 1AA content of leaf in potato planted on non-soil was more than that planted on soil, and that at anaphase was less than that after planting 30 days.
