| Forcing culture and preservation technologies of cut peony flowers were studied in this article.The Paeonia lactiflora 'Tao Hua Fei Xue' was used as material in the preservation study of cut peony flowers. Feasible harvesting-period of cut peony flowers was discussed. The changes of cut peony flowers in vase water, causing by different pre-treatment and preservative solution, were also researched from these aspects: external form during the vase life, losing rate of fresh weight during storage, water absorption capacity, water loss capacity and water balance. In addition, it was studied the reason that water absorption capacity decreased and petals senesced during later storage.The results showed that there were two reasons that the vase life shortened and the flower rate reduced during storing period of cut peony flowers. The first reason is that the ability and capacity of water absorption decreased and water balance declined. The second is that the capacity of water absorption in vase could not compensate that of water loss. Through studying, it was found that pre-treatment and preservative solution increased water absorption ability and decreased water loss, which extended the vase life and increased the flower rate.The Paeonia lactiflora 'Da Fu Gui' was used as material in the forcing culture study of cut peony flowers. The demands for effective accumulated temperature during different growth periods were discussed after applying GA3 and ABT on cut peony flowers.The results showed that applying preservative solution on roots of cut peony flowers could accelerate germination, advance florescence and widen scape. Preservative solution with different concentration has different effect on cut peony flowers, which also made the flowers have different demands for effective accumulated temperature. |
