The experiments were carried out on the farm of Anhui Agricultural University from 2003 to 2004.Yeild and physical characteristic under different nitrogen application in Zhongsi237-Wancao 2 were studied. The result showed that different nitrogen application significantly affected their yeilding and physical characteristics. 1.The effects of nitrogen on physical character in Zhongsi237 Nitrogen could significantly increase NR' activity, under the same nitrogen level, applied was better than basic nitrogen. The total plant's soluble sugar contents of Zhongsi237 increased with the nitrogen apply under 300kg ·hm-2. The Zhongsi237 ear's soluble sugar contents decreased from booting stage to earring stage. Then increased sharply. With the increase of nitrogen, the Zhongsi237 ear's soluble sugar contents increased then decreased in every stage. Nitrogen more than 300kg ·hm-2 was not good for the accumulation of ear's soluble sugar contents. With the increasing of nitrogen apply, the flag leaves' MDA contents decreased after flowing stage (10/5). While the nitrogen was held in a certain quantity, MDA was much lower if basic used than both basic and applied used. Nitrogen could slow down the growing older of Zhongsi237. Nitrogen could significantly improve the photosynthesis characteristics of Triticale. It could make the plants much higher, increasing the leaves area indexes (LAI) and the content of chlorophyll. The net photosynthesis velocity and evaporating rate increased significantly with the increasing of nitrogen apply after grouting stage. Before the period, GS increased significantly with the increasing of nitrogen apply. But, the Gs and Ci decreased with the increasing of nitrogen apply after the grouting stage. Correlation coefficient study indicated that the content of chlorophyll, Gs and Ci remarkably with Pn. 2. The effects of nitrogen on dry matters accumulation and yield of Zhongsi237 Nitrogen could significantly change Triticale (Zhongsi237) under-ear stems, making them longer and wider. Also it coule increase the total amounts of vascular bundles. (Y=24.85+9.78x-0.23x2,r=0.9764**). Nitrogen had great improving fact on the accumulation and distribution of Triticale's dry matters. It could significantly increase Triticale's grass yielding and grain yielding(Y=15.0263X1+280.49856X2-4290.77634,F=101.73**). 3. The effects of pre-stubble nitrogen on Wancao2 Wancao2 could use the remained nitrogen in the soil to make it higher, to increase the number of it's leaves. After being sheared, the new-grow grass could grow higher and much more new stem could be found. The grass yielding and grain yielding of Wancao2 had relations with nitrogen application of last crop. If the nitrogen under a high level, yielding would increase with the increase of nitrogen applied. If the nitrogen was under the same level, Wancao2's grass yielding in B2 treatment was much more than in B1。As the grain yielding was concerned, Wancao2 could get the highest yielding, which is 1113.4 kg·hm-2, under the treatment of nitrogen twice used: 157.5kg·hm-2, then 67.5kg·hm-2. 4. The effects of nitrogen on whole year grass yield of Zhongsi237-Wancao2 Nitrogen had remarkable effect on the whole year grass yield of Triticale-Wancao2. y=29739+32.51x+0.03x2(F=14.07**).In this experiment, when nitrogen is under 300~375kg·hm-2 level and used twice, the largest yield would be get. Which were remarkable to the others. When nitrogen is under 225~375kg·hm-2, the yield was very high.Those was remarkable to A0.
