The population of the Chinese wolfberry aphid {Aphis sp.) increases rapidly to peak in mid-May and causes serious damage to wolfberry, then decreases by early July. In some years, the population has a rise in fall, but it can't cause serious damage because of low density. The key period of damage by Chinese wolfberry aphid to wolfberry is from May to June in every year, that is the key period of aphid control, the study of the economic threshold of Chinese wolfberry aphid on wolfberry flower bud was conducted. There is a logarithmic function between the population density of Chinese wolfberry aphid (x) and rate of flower abscission (y): y =-5.1569+7.9664Lnx ( r=0.8784 df=21,P<0.0001). The economic threshold is 5.14 per branch. The integrated control experiments were conducted in integrated control block and conventional control block. In integrated control block, the effect of control was remained. But spraying frequency, concentration and consumption of insecticides and control cost decrease. The problem of pesticide residue in conventional control was solved. So the aim of the anti-pollution control of Chinese wolfberry aphid is attained.
