A molecular genetic map for Tomato was constructed based on AFLP markers using DNA samples extracted from a back cross (BC) population obtained from 99165-30 as a backcross parent and Lhirsutum PI134417 as a donor parent. QTL with resistance in wild tomato to Gray Mold was analyzed. The main results are as follows: (1) The efficiency of AFLP marker used for construction of tomato genetic map was evaluated. Total 506 bands were produced by using 24 polymorphic primer pairs which gave clear and repetitive amplification between two parents. An average of 21.1 polymorphic bands were obtianed from each AFLP primer combination. (2) Constructed molecular genetic map for Tomato, a total of 112 markers were mapped to 12 linkage Groups, covering 504cM with an average distance of 4.50cM. (3) Two QTL for resistance to Gray Mold with mean of composite interval mapping(CIM) were discovered, and they were named TGM1 and TGM2.This results could be provided base for improvement of Gray Mold resistant breeding in Tomato.
