It was conducted that cucumber seedings were induced by copolymer of chlorine and potassium ions with 0.20%, 0.50%, 1.00%, 1.50% and 2.00% concentration at stage of cotyledon and the first true leaf, The results showed that activities of SOD and urease in cucumber leaves were higher than that of control,and the tendency increased firstly , then decreased. After induced 10 days, they were at the peak base, and higher than that of control obviously. Carboxymethyl cellalase and β-glucosidase activities were lower than that of control obviously, the tendency decreased firstly , then increased, the activities declined to the lowest after 10 days.Soluble suger content were higher than that of control, and the tendency that increased firstly , then decreased,after induced 15 days, they were at the peak base. Chlorophyll content present the tendency that increased firstly , then decreased too,control and treatmeats change slowly at the induced infancy,increased sharply after 10 days, after induced 15 days, they were at the peak base,all treatmeats were higher than control obviously.content of tannin, ferulic acid,chlorogenic acid were higher than that of control, and the tendency that increased firstly , then decreased.the content of tannin increased instantly after induce, the content of treatments and control were most after 15 days. ferulic acid content change slowly at the prophase,rised sharply after 15 days, which were at the peak base after 20 days. Chlorogenic acid content rised shaply after induce, which were maximum after induced 5 days. Lignose content of treatments were higher that of control.The activities of SOD, urease and the content of soluble suger,chlorophyll, ferulic acid,chlorogenic acid, tannin,lignose were positive correlation relationship with resistance to downy after inducing, Carboxymethyl cellalase and β-glucosidase activities were negative correlation relationship with resistance to downy after inducing. Compared to control,when the concentration of copolymer of chlorine and potassium ions were 0.5% to 1.5%, the physiological and biochemical index of treatments changed obviously.
