Stipa breviflora Griseb steppe community occured degradation succession under long time overgrazing . During the succession process reproduction form of main plants and dominant species had changed. This paper investigated and analyzed reproductive characteristics of several main plants under different condition from sexual propagation and vegetation propagation in Siziwang Banner Inner Mongolia .The main research results were as follows:(1) The rate of flowering , seeding and seed yield did not proportion in aspects of seed production .The rate of flowering of Artemisia frigida was low and the rate of seeding was high in fence plot, but seed yield was the highest in light grazing. The germination of Artemisia frigida was above 60% in different plots, but the seedling could not be found. The rate of flowering tillers had been influenced badly under heavy grazing. The rate of flowering tillers increased under light grazing.(2) Vegetation modular of Artemisia frigida were significant different at different plots. The number of the vegetative shoots and stolons and distance between the two adjacent reproductive nodes and stolons were not significant difference between light grazing and fence plot. The number of vegetative shoots and stolons were the highest in fence plots and light grazing.(3) Vegetative modular of Artemisia frigida were influenced by different treatment .The distance between the two adjacent reproductive modes was very easily influenced by density of around plant, In July cutting, all modular unchanged. Death rate of tillers...
