This experiment took the grown Chinese soft-shelled turtles (Pelodiscus sinensis)( middleweight 202.76g) as the objects of study, and they were fed with the animality feeds during the juvenile period.this experiment aimed at finding out the adaptive capacity and the adaptive characteristics of the grown Chinese soft-shelled turtles to the low protein diets, and also the influence of the low protein diets on the serum glulamic pyruvic transaminas (GPT) and the hepatosomatic index (HI) of Chinese soft-shelled turtles. We formulated four diets, The protein content in the diets were respectively 36%, 28%, 25% and 22%. The breed aquatics experiment included two sequential periods. During the two periods, the SGR of the grown Chinese soft-shelled turtles of the control group were the highest, respectively 0.83 ± 0.012 and 1.04 ± 0.047, the SGR of the Chinese soft-shelled turtles in the low protein treatment groups were remarkably significantly lower than that of the high protein group, and became reduced with the decrease of the dietary protein level; The FCE of the control group were the lowest, respectively 1.53 ± 0.03 and 1.41 ± 0.023. The FCE of the low protein treatment groups increased with the decrease of the dietary protein level, and that were remarkably significantly higher than the Control Group; The PER of the control was the highest, respectively 181.37±6.59% & 181.37±6.59%, The PER of the treatment groups tended to decrease with the decrease of dietary protein content, and were all remarkably significantly lower than that of the control group. During the second period, the SGR, IR and PER of the grown Chinese soft-shelled turtles in each group increased distinctively; the increase degree of the low protein groups was greater than that of the control group; the increase degree of three low protein groups increased with the decrease of the dietary protein level, and the difference gap with the control group decreased compared with that in the first period; The FCE of the grown Chinese soft-shelled turtles in each group decreased distinctively, and the decrease degree of the treatment groups was greater than that of the control group; the decrease degree increased with the decrease of the dietary protein level, and the difference gap with the control group decreased compared with that in the first period. The serum GPT of the 28% protein treatment group was significantly lower than that of the 36% protein control group, and the serum GPT of the 25 % and the 22 % protein treatment groups were remarkably significantly lower that of the control group, while the difference between three treatment groups was not...
