Study On The Color Feature Of Stored Tomatoes Surface By Image Processing Techniques

With the development of the economy, the life quality of people has been greatly improved. Meanwhile the demand of fruit and vegetable are increased gradually, as a result, the internal quality of them are higher requested. The digital image process technology has been applied much more in the detection and classification of fruit and vegetable. The digital image process technology is improved more and more rapidly go with the development of computer.It is researched in this dissertation that the online detection and the classification technology of fruit and vegetable in store by the digital image process technique. The main purpose of the research is to increase the speed and improve the accuracy of detection as well as to decrease the cost. It is introduced in the dissertation that computer image acquisition system based on the digital camera, the technology and the way of realization of tomato storage characteristic by digital image process. According to these, the digital model is established, which is used to estimate the ripeness of the tomatoes in store and classify them by color. Apply this model to the image process expert system, the merits of great efficiency, accuracy, convenience and broad application have been easily achieved by getting gray scale and chroma value automatically of the objects with color variation such as fruit and vegetable. The man-made error is reduced and relief the working intensity and workload of inspector. The purpose of high speed, accuracy and reduce the cost is obtained. It is analyzed in the dissertation that the appearance of facula and its resolvent. The choice of color system, the principle and realization of image pre-process in the image processing are also researched in this paper. The result is more approached to the fact by image region selecting, image character extracting, image character selectivity filtration, image statistics analysis etc. according to the characteristic of the image detection.
