In this experiment, polymorphisms of serum protein, including transferring(Tf), prealbumin(Pa), postalbumin(Poâ–¡), postalbumin(Poâ–¡), amylase(Am), ceruloplasmin(Cp) and albumin (Alb), of Guanzhong donkey, Jiami donkey, Guangling donkey, Biyang donkey, Dezhou donkey and Qinyang donkey were investigated by using vertical polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (PAGE). From the view of biochemical genetic polymorphism, population genetic analyses of our famous local ass breeds were analyzed, and genetic distances and genetic similarities between breeds were discussed. The results of this experiment provide basic data for ass's origination, genetic differentiation et al. and provide hopely base for establishment of ass's genetic map and marker assisted selection.The results showed as follows: Es, Pa, Po, Tf, Am in the seven serum protein loci of six breeds had polymorphisms. At the Pol loci, Pol~B was the superior gene in Dezhou donkey, Jiami donkey and Biyang donkey. The superior gene in Qinyang donkey and Guangling donkey was Pol~A. And the Pol loci in Guangling donkey displayed heterozygote. At the Po2 loci, Po2~A was the superior gene in Jiami donkey, Biyang donkey and Guangling donkey . the superior gene in Dezhou donkey and Guangling donkey was Po2~B. And the Po2 loci in Qinyang donkey displayed heterozygote. At the Pal loci, the superior gene in Guanzhong donkey, Jiami donkey, Biyang donkey, Dezhou donkey was Pa~A, except that the Pa~A loci in Qinyang donkey and Guangling donkey displayed heterozygote. At the Tf loci, Tf~A, TfE displayed superiorities in the Biyang donkey, Jiami donkey and Guangling donkey, TfA displayed superiority in the Qinyang donkey and Dezhou donkey, Tf~B was superiorior gene only in the Guanzhong donkey. At the Am loci, Am~A completely displayed superiority in six breeds. Cp hadnot polymorphism in six breeds.The allele frequencies of each locus reflect not only the genetic characters of different populations but also the character's differences among populations. The numbers of effective alleles (Ne) in Guanzhong donkey, Jiami donkey, Guangling donkey, Biyang donkey, Qinyang donkey and Dezhou donkey were 1.9441, 2.1779, 2.0705, 1.9907,2.2193 and 2.0538 respectively. The polymorphism information content (PIC) were respectively 0.3699, 0.4038, 0.975, 0.3915, 0.4083 and 0.3887. Herozygosities (H) were 0.4645, 0.5079, 0.5027, 0.4995, 0.5289 and 0.4877 respectively. Factural herozygosities(Ho) were 0.4249, 0.3499, 0.3855, 0.4168, 0.3332 and 0.4214. The results of the fitness of Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium showed that Alb, Pal, Am were in disequilibrium or extreme disequilibrium in different populations.The average herozygosities of Qinyang donkey and Jiami donkey were the highest, which indicated that both were seldom influenced by artificial...
