Bacterial leaf streak (BLS) is a familiar epidemic disease in rice in South China. In recent years, it has become a main disease by degrees and caused serious yield losses in rice. So it is desirable to exploit the rice germplasm possessing disease resistance against bacterial leaf streak to improve the disease resistance of present rice hybrids.Based on the research of pioneers, my study worked on the fine mapping of three QTL which control the resistance of BLS. The main results are summarized as follows:(1) The linkage mapping of target region on the short arm of chromosome 3 was constructed and the qBlsr3d was mapped. Marker RM523, RM569 and MRG2807.IRRI2807 were added to the chromosome 3 between marker RM231 and RM523. By means of CIM analysis, qBlsr3d was located between marker RM231 and RM523, and 6.19cM away from marker RM523, which explained 11.52% of the phenotypic variation.(2) The linkage mapping of target region on the short arm of chromosome 5 was constructed and the qBlsr5a was mapped. Marker RM413 and MRG6029.IRRI6029 were added to the chromosome 5 between marker RM153 and RM437. By means of CIM analysis, qBlsr5a was located between marker MRG6029.IRRI6029 and RM413, and 4.01cM away from marker MRG6029.IRRI6029, which explained 26.53% of the phenotypic variation.(3) The linkage mapping of target region on the long arm of chromosome 5 was constructed and the qBlsr5b was mapped.
