The studies in existence of greenhouse environment control and manage only emphasize on the growth of crop, and seldom take into account the cost of control, which results the greenhouse manage expert system mainly is reason based on knowledge or rules. In this paper, the expert system of greenhouse environment control based on model, the expert system of greenhouse environment control based on model is put forward.Based on the data gotten from the experiment in greenhouse, the statistical model on relationship between net photosynthetic rate of cucumber and climate environment factors is established. On the basis of photosynthetic rate function, combined with model of the respiration rate, canopy distribute, variation of leaf area and development progress, a growth model of cucumber is set up,According to the study in existence of greenhouse environment control model, the model of technique effect and the cost of environment control are established respectively. And the model of environment control effect based on database is put forward, and the method of least squares support vector machine (LS-SVM) is used to extraction and analysis of the model. Using this method, we can realize the express, extraction, and update the model of the environment control effect.On the basis of the greenhouse crop growth model, greenhouse control effect model and control cost model, the optimization parameters of environment is given in order that the target of economical optimization is realized. Based on those, the software of "Greenhouse environment Management Expert System" (GHMES) is developed, and the combination of "Model Based Reason" and "Knowledge Based Reason" is realized. The system can forecast market period, growth stage, and so on. And it can offer the reference of greenhouse control for the greenhouse manager. Meanwhile, it can realize intelligent control by connecting with greenhouse controllerThe purpose of the research is to improve the intelligent level of greenhouse environment control. At the same time, this technique can ensure more theoretical and practical value in promoting the industrialization process of the greenhouse industry and accelerating sustainable development of protected agriculture.
