With China's WTO accession, our agricultural products in the international competitiveness must be rapidly improved. Greenhouse crop production, which is an important component of agricultural facilities and enjoys huge market and strong vitality, is an important growth point of our agricultural production. While our modern greenhouse cultivation is larger, but overall greenhouse management control level is not high.The project aimed at in our country greenhouse management software development and application can not meet the current status of modern greenhouse production, the use of the optimization decision-making scope in greenhouse crop growth is very small and greenhouse environmental management decision-making continues to experience mainly which often result in greenhouse crop production and quality desired value, develops Intelligent Decision Support System which practicality is strong and expansionary is good for our greenhouse production management .The thesis outlined the concept of IDSS, including development, application status, characteristics and composition, development environment and development character, and made the idea of based on database systems development, that is, the system database, knowledge base and model base are expressed in the form of databases. On the basis of analysis of the main factors affecting greenhouse environment, through extensive literature search and according to greenhouse environmental control system matching principles and appropriate and effective principles, temperature control systems, humidity control systems, light control systems and ventilation control systems have been matched. Through experiments, greenhouse equipment control cost has been analyzed, and the greenhouse equipment control cost models have been established, which provide the decision-making basis for developing system and achieving integrated environmental control. Three ways to control the greenhouse environment have been compared and the intelligent decision-making system has been chosen as the control and decision-making way in the research paper.The thesis puts emphasis on the development of IDSS for greenhouse environment management. The IDSS is designed by Delphi 7.0. First IDSS design principles are identified, system analysis is conducted, system development processes are identified and system architectures are designed. The module analysis to the man-machine interaction system has been carried on. The related knowledge with greenhouse environment control and greenhouse crops growth model has been collected, summarized and analyzed, which is the main data and knowledge originates to constitute the database, the knowledge base and the model base of IDSS, and the system database, the knowledge base and the model base have been established taking this as the foundation. Inference engine is designed to achieve the key functions of the whole system. Using of the IDSS platform to address conflict, forward-chain, backward-chain and mixed inference as the main forms of reasoning process control, and inference flow chart is designed. In order to make systems friendly operate, finally the user interfaces are designed.Through debugging operation, the movement results satisfy the design requirements basically and achieve the expected results. Systems have certain economic and social benefits.
