Under the condition of field culture and pot culture, root and leaf physiological characteristics were studied at different growth stages by using two-line super high yield hybrid rice combination , Liangyoupeijiu, three-line hybrid rice combination, Shanyou63, and conventional variety Xiangzhou8 as experimental materials. At the same time, foreign hormone 6-BA were sprayed at booting stage and heading stage in order to explore the methods to solve early aging of root of hybrid rice under the same condition described above .The results showed as follows:1. At late growth stages, the sap bleeding rate of root system of different varieties (combination) showed different changing trend. So theirs a-NA oxidizing activity and peroxidase (POD) activity do. Liangyoupeijiu had stronger sap bleeding rate and a-NA oxidizing activity, and its a-NA oxidizing activity and peroxidase activity (POD) increased to a certain extent at late mature stage. However, these decreased more rapidly than those of Shanyou63 and Xiangzhou8.2. At late growth stages, superoxide dismutase(SOD) activity and malonaldehydic acid (MDA) content of root system of different varieties (combination) showed similar changing trend. However, SOD activity of root system of Liangyoupeijiu increased rapidly since milk ripening stage, and was significant higher than that of the other two varieties (combination); And MDA content of root system of Liangyoupeijiu increased more rapidly too.3. At late growth stages, different changing trend of chlorophyll (Chl) content of leaf of different varieties (combination) were observed, while soluble protein of leaf showed similar changing trend. more chlorophyll (Chl) content and soluble protein content of leaf of Liangyoupeijiu were observed, so the leaf of Liangyoupeijiu had stronger photosynthetical ability, However, these decreased more rapidly since milk...
