Wheat is the main cereal crop in our country and there are 237 species of pests in the wheat. The wheat yellow stripe rust caused by Puccinia striformis f.sp. tritici is the foremost disease in the world and the difficult problem to the phytopathologiests. This paper summarizing the former research results found the strategy of integrated control and the measure of chemical control for the wheat yellow stripe rust in the mountain of south Ningxia based on the system investigation the development and epidemic of the disease.1. Screening the beautiful fungicides and finding the suitable using period is obligatory for effective control the yellow rust of wheat in Ningxia owing to lack of the high resistance wheat variety and good candidate variety. Determination of feasible interval of spray, and using technique based on the residues times of fungicides and the incubation period is needed for effective control the Puccinia striformis f.sp. tritici.2. Triadimefon an ergosterol biosynthesis inhibiting fungicide should be extended in control stripe rust of wheat as coating the seeds or seed dressing, and good control effect can be obtained before the spiking for spaying.3. The demonstration and extension measure for control yellow rust of wheat in Ningxia Autonomous Region has been established.
