A study was carried out to investigate the effect of different type of yeast culture on 20-25Kg goats growth performance; examine the effect of rumen fermentation and the ratio of feed degradation with or without yeast culture. Exp.1:16 Bohr × Daerhei goats (initial weight: 20.48±1.00Kg), according to randomized block design, were distributed into 4 treatments: (1) control ration without yeast culture; (2) addition with 15g of yeast culturel; (3) addition with 15g of yeast culture2; (4) addition with 50g of yeast culture3. Provide feed in accord with metabolic BW and water ad libitum, record body weight and feed consumption on time. Exp.2: 8 goats with fistula ,according to completely randomized design, received successively to diets with (each goat received 200ml YC3 per day) or without yeast culture. Gather ruminal fluid enough to investigate pH and the concentration ammonia, amino-nitrogen, microbe cell protein. Two days later a experiment was carried out to examine the degradation ratio of basic diet(DM CP NDF).Four nylon bags was put into rumen after morning feeding each goat, and was taken out 24h after to determine the degradation ratio of DM,CP,NDF.The Data of Exp1. indicated that supplementing yeast culture can improve growth performance and F/G The average daily gain of treatment with YC1,YC2, YC3 can increase of 4.83%,9.67%,24.53% respectively. The F/G can improve 5.45%, 8.78%, 20.21% respectively. Addition with YC3 can promote growth performance significantly (p<0.05), supplementing YC1,YC2 resulted in a tendency to improve ADGThe Data of Exp2. indicated that the pH of treatment with YC3 in ruminal fluidincrease of 0.65% % 0.48%> 2.53%> 2.92% respectively 2h,4h,6h,8h after in morning feeding; the concentration of ammonia decrease of 30.28%, 36.43%, 35.52%, 18.27% respectively; the concentration of amino-nitrogen increase of 6.02% , 13.33%, 12.21%% 1.23% respectively; the production of microbe cell protein increase of 34.90%, 26.65%, 28.48%, 17.84% respectively. Supplementing YC3 did not have any statistical effect either on pH, the concentration of ammonia, amino-nitrogen and microbe cell protein production in ruminal fluid, but addition YC3 can increase microbe cell protein production 2h after in morning feeding(P<0.05).The degradation(24h) of diet DM,CP and NDF increase of 1.40%> 7.93%, 9.78% respectively ,but they had no significantly effect(P<0.05). This trial show that supplementing YC3 can stabilize pH in rumen, decrease ammonia, increase the concentration of amino-nitrogen and microbe cell protein production in ruminal fluid; increase degradation ratio of DM, CP, NDF(24h).This data suggest that addition with YC3 may improve rumen nitrogen metabolism of goats, then improve utilization ratio of nutrients. |
