Bamboo forests have many merits, such as higher ecological function, growth quickly, etc. As one of bamboos, Bambusa pervariabilis × Dendrocalamopsis Daii have not only above characters, but also higher content of science and technology, timbers and shooting all being used. And they are so popular that are planted in many districts on converting farmland to forest engineering. But the studies on B.pervariabilis×D. Daii before were mainly engaged on some aspects such as selecting technologies, rapid cultivating technologies, accompanied afforesting technologies. It has still remained untouched and blank as far as the study on stand structure character of B. pervariabilis ×D. Daii. In this article, the author studies on stand structure character of B. pervariabilis × D. Daii. on districts of converting farmland to forest engineering. The main results gained from the trails are listed as follows:(1) The age of B. pervariabilis ×D. Daii. are judged by some obvious external characters, such as color of clums, having or not vimens, and so on.(2) The number of new bamboo shoots is more than old ones, which is benefit to the regeneration and growth of bamboo. The total percent of 1, 2, 3 year of B. pervariabilis X D. Daii. is about 96.9%, and the other only account for about 3.1 %.(3) In the research, the biggest percent of the average number of clums is 5~8. And the average DHB will first increase then decrease with the increase of culm number. The cause is that too many bamboo clums cause nutritious competition. When the number of culms is 5~8, the average DHB is the biggest, and it is 4.85cm.(4) The DHB distribution of the stand is the Normal distribution. When the DHB is from 3 to 5, the clums are the most. However, diameter variation of bamboo forest is very low. The relative diameter of biggest one is 1.75 and the smallest one is only 0.23.(5) The distribution of biomass at different growth period is very unbalanced. Thebiomass of clum, shoot and leaf are all increase firstly then decrease with the DHB of stand. And the biomass of clum and shoot is the biggest when the DHB range is from 6.0cm to 6.9cm, which is respectively 1849.20kg and 578.88kg. And the biomass of leaf is the biggest when the DHB range is from 5.0cm to 5.9 cm, which is 296.64kg.(6) Regression analysis between the average DHB of stand, height of clums and the node number, the total weight of aboveground parts, clums weight are done. The results show that the bamboo of B. pervariabilis X D. Daii. have a high value of biomass. And the interrelation between them ingredient reached very ralative.(7) The area of leaf and the DHB is relative. Similarly, the LAI and the DHB is also relative. The LAI is increase with the increase of DHB of stand. So to some extent, the LAI also influenced the output of B. pervariabilis XD. Daii..(8) Compared with the Dendrocalamus latifloris , many characters are preponderant, such as the average DHB, the average height, the node number, the weight of clum, the total weight of aboveground parts, and so on.
