The varieties are 4267 collections of Zhonghua Hand Zhonghua 15 mutants of Oryza sativa L.subsup Japonica by T-DNA insertional mutagenesis which was mediated by Agrobacterium tumefaciens . Under pot culture with low-p environment, phenotypes screening was done during the seedling stage .Then according the molecular biology testing ,41 co-segregated collections has been choosen. In the end of whole growth stage,according investigating the 8 biological characters: Total tillers, Available tillers, Available tiller ratio, Height, Biomass, Grain yield, Total seed weight and Total yield, ,firstly, we got the co-segregated plants which can be regarded as Low Phosphorus Tolerant Mutants in Rice and confirmed the characters which can show difference in these co-segregation collections. .Then, based on the cluster-analysis about these biological characters, we can confirm the low phosphorus tolerant mutants. At last, according comparing between co-segregation plants with low P and control with normal P, we can get the credible screening result.The result shows that the Total tillers, Available tillers, Biomass, Grain yield, Total seed weight and Total yield can show great difference in these co-segregation collections under low P. But the Available tiller ratio and Height can not. According the cluster-analysis result, we got 9 co-segregated plants which can be regarded as low phosphorus tolerant mutants in Rice. NO 6 plant of 03zllEO21 is the mutant which has high uptake ratio of P. NO 11 and 16 plants of 03zllEP08 and NO 7 plant of 03zllFA19 have high data on all of the biological characters, so they also belong to the the mutant which has high uptake ratio of P. NO 1 and 16 plants of 03zllEP81 is also the mutant which has high uptake ratio of P. NO 20 plant of 03zllEY16 and NO 11 plant of 03zllFA56 is the mutant which has high utilize ratio of P. NO 20 plant of 03zllEZ08 is also the mutant which has high utilize ratio of P. This research result will base for the biological re-screening and the location and function-identifying of the P-related genes.
