The effect of the giycyrrhizine on immune function in gigel cavp(Carassius auratus gibel), the effect of the dietary immunopolysaccharide(yeast cell wall) and HB-101 on non-specific immune function in juvenile soft-shelled turtle(Pelodiscus sinensis), the effect of the dietary immunopolysaccharide(yeast cell wall) on non-specific immune function in Japanese eel(Anguilla japonica) were studied. The results were as follows:1. Gigel carp(Carassius auratus gibel) were inoculated with killed Cytophaga columnaris and fed with diets supplemented with different amount of giycyrrhizine, the influence of dietary giycyrrhizine on Gigel carp were determined by agglutinating antibody titer, phagocytic activity. The results showed that adding giycyrrhizine with a ration of 150 mg/kg.d into the diets can not only improve antibody titer, but also significantly enhance phagocytic activity.2. The juvenile soft-shelled turtle were divided into 6 groups and were fed with feed supplemented with different ratio of yeast cell wall, that was 0 mg/kg.d(control group), 500.0 mg/kg.d(group â… ), 1000.0 mg/kg.d(group â…¡), 1500.0 mg/kg.d(group â…¢), 2000.0 mg/kg.d(group â…£)and 2500.0 mg/kg.d(group â…¤), respectively. 28 days later, the turtles were blooded, and the phagocytic activity of the leucocytes, serum lysozyme activity and contents of serum complement C3 and C4 were monitored. The results showed that the phagocytic activity and lysozyme activity in group â… , â…¡ and â…¢ were significantly higher than the control group(t-test, p<0.05). However, there were no significant differences among group â…£, â…¤ and the control group(t-test, p>0.05). The highest complement activity were observed in group â…¡ and â…¢, which were significantly higher than the control group(t-test, p<0.05). As the contents of serum complement C3 and C4 was concerned, there were no significant differences between group â… ,â…£,â…¤ and control group(t-test, p>0.05). The results demonstrate that the best supplementation ratio of the yeast cell wall in the soft-shelled turtle is about 1000.0 mg/kg.d, and immunosuppression in soft-shelled turtles will probably occur when the supplementation ratio go beyond 1500.0 mg/kg.d3. The turtles were divided into 3 groups and were fed with feed supplemented with HB-101, immunopolysaccharide (yeast cell wall), that was 2.0 mL/kg.d(HB-101 group), 1000.0mg/kg.d(immunopolysaccharide group)and 0mg/kg.d(control group), respectively. 28 days later, the turtles were blooded, and the phagocytic activity of the leucocytes, serum lysozyme activity and contents of serum complement C3 and C4 were monitored. The results showed that the phagocytic activity and lysozyme activity in HB-101 group and immunopolysaccharide group were significantly higher than the control group(Mest, p<0.05). However, there were no significant differences between HB-101 group and immunopolysaccharide group(r-test, p>0.05). The highest serum lysozyme activity and contents of serum complement C3 and C4 were observed in immunopolysaccharide group, which were significantly higher than the control group(Mest, p<0.05). while there were no significant differences between HB-101 group and immunopolysaccharide group(r-test, p>0.05). The results demonstrate that feed supplemented with HB-101, immunopolysaccharide (yeast cell wall) play an active role on non-specific immune function in juvenile soft-shelled i\ixtlc(Pelodiscus sinensis).4. The eel were divided into 4 groups and were fed with feed supplemented with different ratio of yeast cell wall, that was 0 mg/kg.d(control group) > 100.0 mg/kg.d(group I y 300.0 mg/kg.d(groupll) and 500.0 mg/kg.d(groupIII), respectively. 28 days later, the eel were blooded, and the phagocytic activity of the leucocytes, serum lysozyme activity and contents of serum complement C3 and C4 were monitored. The results showed that the phagocytic activity in group II and III were significantly higher than the control group(Mest, /?<0.05). The lysozyme activity of group III was significant higher than the control group(f-test, p<0.05). However, there were no significant differences between group I , II and control group. The highest contents of serum complement C3 and C4 was observed in group III, which were no significant differences between group I, II and HI and the control group(Mest, p>0.Q5). The results demonstrate that the supplementation ratio of the yeast cell wall in the eel is beyond 500.0 mg/kg.d...
