A Study On Status And Development Countermeasures Of Vegetable Varieties Planted In Hebei Province

Vegetable growing is a new method which attracts famers to invest more automatically, gets more profit, and develops most quickly, besides, it is also the biggest among other growings and the prominent way to increase both agriculture effect and famer's income. By investigating the kinds of vegetable which is grown presently in Hebei Province, understanding its international development and analysing its problems, this thesis tries to give proper solutions and reasonable suggestions on introducing and cultivating new vegetable. This will accelerate the vegetable's changing speed, meet the need of international market, enforce the competion and promote the health sustainable development of vegetable growing in Hebei Province.This thesis adopted methods like literature reviewing, investigating, mathematical statistic etc., and based on previous theories, found the following problems: the renewing speed of vegetable kinds is slow; we have introduced more varieties from other provinces but cultivated less of our own varieties; we have introduced the varieties from so many places that we cannot ensure the quality of the seeds; there is a lack of sense to plant new, special and excellent varieties; we have a blind choice on varieties; the cultivating skill cannot meet the need of the varieties. The author provides some solutions to the above problems: give more support to seeds-cultivating places in the province; speed up the introduction of excellent varieties; renewing and optimizing the popular vegetable varieties; introducing actively the special varieties; futher protecting the farmer's excellent varieties; introducing the proper varieties for special purpose and accelerating the changing speed of vegetable varieties in Hebei Province.
