Objective To observe the effects of organic broiler and safety-product broiler models on growth performance, slaughter performance, blood physiological and biochemical index and immune organs index in chicken. Then, a comprehensive evaluation of organic broiler and safety-product broiler models were investigated.Methods 1000 chicken were divided into 6 groups randomly, which included Tian Fulai group, Mule888 group, Lu Huibao group, organic breeding group, earthworm group and safety-product group. Every group took the different food additive and repetitive for 4 times. Organic breeding standard was performed in all groups expect the safety-product group which took the safety-product bleeding standard. The growth performance, slaughter percentage, and blood physiological and biochemical index of all groups were measured and compared.Results Organic breeding experimental of adding Chinese medicine of Lu Huibao had a better performance in growth than that in other organic breeding groups. Additionally, the average day consumption of feed in Lu Huibao group was also the highest. The feed/gain ratio of safety-product group was lower significantly than that in organic breeding groups. The slaughter percentage, semi-eviscerated percentage, eviscerated percentage, breast meat percentage and thigh percentage between organic breeding group and safety-product group were non-significant. For wing weight percentage, Lu Huibao group was significant higher than that of safety-product group. The level of serum cholesterol and the activity of acetyl cholinesterase in organic breeding group were higher and lower than that in other groups separately. The activity of GPT, GOT, alkaline phosphatase in all experimental groups showed a tendency of increasing with day age. On the 28th and 51st day, the immune organs index of two different production models has no significant difference in statistics.Conclusions (1)Lu Huibao group had the better performance than other groups in increasing the weight and breast meat percentage. (2)The feed/gain ratio of safety-product group was lower than that in organic breeding group. (3) Organic breeding had the effect of increasing the activity of acetyl cholinesterase and lowing cholesterol level in blood. (4)The difference of immune organs index between the two different production models was non-significant.
