Study On Compound Chinese Herb Medicine Feed Additive In Improving Chinese Yellow-feathered Chicken Growth

Chinese yellow-feathered chickens of 1-day-old were randomly divided into 7 treatments, there were 3 replicates in each treatment and 15 chickens in each replicate. Group 1 appended antibiotics, group 2-6 were compound Chinese herb medicine treatment, group 7 was control group. By measuring every group′s production performance of eight weeks, we filtrated the best compound Chinese herb medicine feed additive. Then we studied on the effect to the biochemical index of blood. The compound after filtrated was studied on the effect to the immune performance.The security experiment was conducted to the Chinese herb medicine in the end. The result showed:1,Significantly or very significantly increasing weight,body weight gain and feed intake in the experiment time that was first to eighth week. Decreasing feed/gain in different degree. Increasing livability and the rate of gain flesh. In the five groups which added Compound Chinese herb medicine, the sixth group is the best.2,Compound Chinese herb medicine effected on the blood biochemical index of broiler chickensCompound Chinese herb medicine can increase Glu content, there was significant different between control group, and significant or extremely different between antibiotics group.Every treatment can decrease TG content,there was significant different between Chinese herb medicine group 5 and control group. The 5 groups which were additive in Chinese herb medicine were higher than antibiotics group and control group in CHO content, group3 and 4 were significantly different with antibiotics group and control group inside.The TP content of control group was the lowest, the extremely significant different existed in antibiotics group; Chinese herb medicine group 2 and 6 were significant different with control group. The Alb content of control group was the lowest also, the significant different existed in antibiotics group; no significant different existed in Chinese herb medicine group. There was no significant different between the treatments and control group in the UA content. Every treatment was lower than control group, Antibiotics group,Chinese herb medicine group 5 and 2 were significant different to the control group.The control group was the lowest in Ca content, significant different existed between the antibiotics group; no significant different existed in the Chinese herb medicine groups. The control group was the lowest in P content also, Antibiotics group and Chinese herb medicine group 3 wre highest, significant different existed between the control group.No significant different existed in each group in ALT,AST. Chinese herb medicine group 2 and 4 were the lowest in CK, and antibiotics group was the highest, Significant different existed between the highest and the lowest; others were not significant different in the groups.3,Compound Chinese herb medicine effected on the broiler chickens'immun performance significantly Compound Chinese herb medicine can increase the weight of thymus,spleen,bursa and their indexes. The weight of spleen and its index of Chinese herb medicine group was higher than the antibiotics group and control group in the third week, and the different was significantly.7 days ago after immunized Newcastle disease, treatment groups were higher than the control group in Newcastle disease vaccine, and the different was significantly. This kind of different would persist to the 21st day.4,We conducted the Acute toxicity test for Compound Chinese herb medicine which was filtrated, did not find the symptoms of poisoning. The collapse in spleen,thymus,stomach,liver,heart,lung,kidney did not happen. The result showed Compound Chinese herb medicine was security.
