To improve the number of the goats' babies can improve economic benefit. In this study, the PCR-SSCP and Quantitative Genetics of PRLR gene was made in Boer Goats and Jizhong Goats which are in the middle and southern regions of Hebei province, which can offer basic material of Marker Assistant Breeding in prolific goats.The genetic variation(gene frequency, heterozygosity,polymorphic information content(PIC) and effective number of alleles) of two PRLR gene loci(Intron I and II) was analyzed in two populations(Jizhong Goats and Boer Goats).Two alleles are found in Jizhong Goats at Intron I ,and gene frequencies are 0.5 and 0.5;Two alleles are found in Boer Goats at Intron I ,and gene frequencies are 0.525 and 0.475. Two alleles are found in Jizhong Goats at Intron II ,and gene frequencies are 0.04 and 0.96;Two alleles are found in Boer Goats at Intron II,and gene frequencies are 0.05 and 0.95.The heterozygosities,polymorphic information contents(PIC) and effective numbers of alleles in Jizhong Goats at Intron I are 0.96,25 and 0.96;The heterozygosities,polymorphic information contents(PIC) and effective numbers of alleles in Boer Goats at Intron I are 0.95,20 and 0.95. The heterozygosities,polymorphic information contents(PIC) and effective numbers of alleles in Jizhong Goats at Intron II are 0.04,1.0417 and 0.04;The heterozygosities,polymorphic information contents(PIC) and effective numbers of alleles in Boer Goats at Intron II are 0.1,1.1111 and 0.1.Analysis of variance indicated that Intron II of PRLR gene extremely significantly affected litter size of the first and second parity(P<0.01),while Intron I had no significantly effect on litter size of the first and second parity(P>0.05) in Jizhong Goats. Logistic regression for litter size of different genotypes of Intron II Locus in PRLR gene in Jizhong Goats indicated the Logistic regression for litter size of DD genotypes of Intron II Locus in PRLR gene was extremely significant level(P< 0.0l).The result with Analysis of variance indicated DD genotype in Intron II of PRLR gene extremely significantly affected litter size of the first and second parity(P< 0.01).The results indicated that two PRLR gene loci had polymorphism,in which, Intron II showed the low polymorphism but Intron I showed the high polymorphism.Intron II of PRLR gene evidently affected litter size of the first and second parity,while Intron I had no evidently effect on litter size of the first and second parity in Jizhong Goats. And DD genotype in Intron II of PRLR gene mostly affected litter size of the first and second parity. |
