In order to resolve the problem of insufficient amounts of fertilizer, simplex fertilization mode and lacking bestrow on the soil surface, utilize the balanced fertilization methods to determine the amounts of fertilizer, design the experiment in blocks split. The main treatments include conventional tillage (Al) , tillage with stubbles mulch (A2) , no tillage with whole stalks mulch (A3) . The secondary treatments include once topdressing Urea( B1) and twice topdressing Urea( B2 ) under P and K applied with sowing. Study the soil characteristics and growth of spring maize under different fertilization mode of conservation tillage.The results of the experiments showed as follows: the content of soil available K of no tillage with whole stalks mulch treatment was higher than the other two treatments, the Content of available N and available P were lower than the other treatments, the content of soil organic matter increased to a certain; soil bulk densities of different tillage showed difference in the prophase growth of maize, soil bulk density of no tillage with stubbles mulch was highest, conventional tillage was the lowest.. Compared with conventional tillage and no tillage with stubbles mulch , soil temperature of no tillage with whole stalks mulch treatment was lower in May and June. Soil water of no tillage with whole stalks mulch was higher correspondingly, which was much more notable in drought season. There was a close relation between the achievement of target yield and fertilization manner in the case of fixed amounts of fertilizer, concluded that no tillage with whole stalks mulch mode and twice topdressing urea manner (A3B2) was the optimum combination of highest economic benefit. According to two years experiment, summarized the main points of fertilization management of spring maize under conservation tillage: (1) Utilize balanced fertilization methods to determine the amounts of fertilizer; (2) Increase the quantities of the mulch, if the seeding quality can be ensured, adopt no tillage with whole stalks mulch mode; (3) Determine the befitting fertilization manner. P and K applied with sowing, the time of topdressing urea should be in elongateion stage and fusule stage of maize respectively, which is beneficial to exert fertilizer effects.
