Utilization ratio of agricultural resource of paddy fields means an input-output transform ratio of agricultural resource (mainly includes seed rice, fingerling, chemical fertilizer, pesticide, feed farm manure, hay) of unit paddy field. The methods includes 2 parts: the first part is to analyze the historical related data of 10 years (from 1995 to 2004) of 8 counties with paddy-field-fish-culture (QuanZhou, XingAn, GuanYang, ZiYuan, RongShui, SanJiang, HuanJiang, PingNan etc.) and 11 counties without it (YangShuo, LingChuan, LinGui, YongFu, LongSheng, PingLe, LiPu, GongCheng, RongAn, GuiPing, HengXian etc.), which are located in the northern region, northwest region, southeast region of Guangxi; the second part is to collect and analyze first-hand data of agricultural resource in 8 villages of 5 counties (QuanZhou, XingAn, RongShui, SanJiang, PingNan) with paddy-fields-fish-culture and 1 village of 1 counties (HengXian) without paddy-fields-fish-culture. The study shows a systemic and comprehensive conclusion as following:1. Under the same conditions, from a long-term's view, the counties with paddy-field-fish-culture have an averagely higher annual unit yield than that of the counties without paddy-field-fish-culture2. Among the counties with similar higher unit yield, the counties without paddy-field-fish -culture always use more chemical fertilizer and pesticide than that of the counties, which have paddy-field-fish-culture.3. In same region, the counties using a great deal chemical fertilizer and pesticide always don't have paddy-field-fish-culture.4. Part of counties without paddy-field-fish-culture have a decreasing effectiveness of using pesticide and chemical fertilizer (such as PingLe, GongCheng, YangShuo, RongAn, GuiPing, HengXian), while they still obtain a lower annual average unit area yield than the counties with fish culture in.paddy fields. The research aforementioned involves most of counties with paddy-field-fish-culture and the counties without paddy-field-fish-culture but in the same region. There is no any county without paddy-field-fish-culture can get higher or some unit yield than or as the county that has paddy-field-fish-culture, unless it use a great deal of chemical fertilizer and pesticide.5. Eight inquired villages with fish culture in paddy fields obtained a higher annual unit rice yield than the average of the county, so this result is tallied with conclusion 1.6. All 6 inquired villages with fish culture in paddy fields use less chemical fertilizer unit area than the average of the same county.7. The inquired village without fish culture in paddy field obviously uses more pesticide than all of the 8 inquired villages with fish culture in paddy field.8.In southeast region of Guangxi, the pure income of the inquired villages with fish culture in paddy fields are higher than that of the villages without fish culture in paddy fields. This research shows that: the fish culture in paddy fields obviously promotes the utilization ratio of agricultural resource in paddy fields area.
